Redcliffe Hotel

Everything was very good. Excellent breakfast, friendly and efficient staff, spotlessly clean. Our experience was extremely positive and if we were to visit the area we would definitely stop at the Redcliffe Hotel again. We highly recommended it.

We had an excellent stay at The Redcliffe Hotel. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We ate at the hotel lunchtime and had an evening meal (food from the bar menu), we couldn’t fault this. Breakfast was adequate in a lovely dining hall overlooking the sea. We stayed with a large group of friends and found the hotel great value for money. Although a large building, in need of some updating, which apparently is starting in October. The location is ideal, a 10/15 minute walk to the main town but far enough away from all the bars and noise. The beach is just outside the building. We didn’t use the pools (indoor or out) so cannot comment on these facilities. We would definitely stay again.

Needs updating but wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Our room with a view was great, after we cleaned windows to see out. Swimming pool very good. Staff very friendly.

Windows in bedroom very dirty. No drinking water in rooms. Good selection of food for breakfast, however , buffet was not topped up , when fruit etc was gone , no replacements.

Staff were very good. Very helpful, pleasant and friendly. Swimming pool although a little dirty was a good feature.

Salad selection quite poor unless you like garlic drenched salad dressing, which was difficult to avoid even when dressing free salad was requested, at one point although dressed salad was on the menu we were told plain salad was unavailable, not acceptable for a hotel of this size and price range. Although a sea view wasn’t guaranteed, our view of a pebble dashed flat roof was a little underwhelming. The cooked breakfast although passable was spoiled by undercooked bacon.

Staff lovely, some food very good eg chicken parmigiana and crab pasta and souffle. Good parking.

Room very worn, bed sagged in the middle. Bathroom not good, no free standing shower, just one little shampoo and soap. Both pools closed at some point due to maintenance issues.
