Outdated and noisy music from pub opposite on first night and no net curtains and no option to open window / have fresh air at breakfast time

Well located for the center of town.

Very tired property in need of some attention. No daily cleaning of the room and the restaurant was closed on Saturday night with no notice given beforehand. Staff were also unhelpful when asked about nearby parking. Simple remedy for both with some better communication and prior information.

Rooms needed a re-furb, furniture quite worn and tatty.

Couldn't work the cold water out in bathroom

At check-in I discovered I was being very generously compensated for a problem with my room on a previous visit. I had quite forgotten that problem so it was all a very pleasant surprise. After such excellent customer service it would be churlish of me to rate this visit as anything other than a 10

It was just what we needed for what we were in the area for.

It was a little noisy, early in the morning with the rubbish collection

The location was central.

Out dated and dusty.
