One of our rooms had no TV batteries and also the fan from the kitchen or boiler woke us as it was very loud

De kamer was veel te warm. Zelfs met het raam open, was de temperatuur niet omlaag te krijgen. Terwijl het buiten niet warm was. Er is geen lift, drie trappen op sjouwen met koffers.

The hotel is convenient for the centre of town. Bar area is nice. Staff on reception nice.

The room we stayed in was a family room and was cramped. My teenager was not impressed! Dents in the wall too. The location is noisy- opposite a tap room . We were there in a heatwave, hard to get to sleep with having to have the window open and no fan. Roadworks immediately outside do an early wake up too. Breakfast service was poor. We didn’t arrive til the last 30 minutes but nothing was left - no plates, tea or coffee. Had to ask and wait for even the basics. The actual cooked breakfast was ok. Fair for the price. Tea urn was hopeless. One poor member of staff seemed to be doing everything, I would not stay here again

Paid for breakfast. No hot food on one day, kitchen , we were told was broken in some way. No money back.

Room small , no lift 2nd floor.
