No hot water in the shower and never was able to get the front desk to answer before I went out

I grew up around here, and when I visit for weddings and funerals, this is usually where I stay. Here's the positive: 1) The hotel is very, very clean. The public restrooms, main floor areas and the room are spotless. Kudos to housekeeping. 2) The bathrooms are a good size and the bed and linens are comfortable. It was also super quiet. 3) The breakfast area--open from 6:30 - 9:30--has a good selection of food and Starbucks coffee. It's also comfortable to sit there, eat and read the news. The people working there moved as quickly as possible when it got crowded and were friendly. The negatives: 1) PARKING. They charge $15/day to park a car. This is not a city. It's not valet. It's not a garage. And they don't SHARE it with any other business. They don't even give you a pass to put in your window. So why are they charging us? There's no place else to park. It's not like you can park your car at Tice's and walk down the main road to the hotel. It angers me that I am getting nickel-and-dimed for something like this. Marriott: YOU CAN DO BETTER. 2) Water pressure: This is a Bonvoy hotel, meaning they care about the environment. Unfortunately, it took me nearly 10 minutes to rinse the shampoo from my hair. The water pressure is way too weak. So you end up using MORE water and taking a LONGER shower than necessary. 3) Check - in: For the well-being of your employees, please update your system. I had one night with gifted points, and a second night that I paid for. Currently, both guest and employees need to do TWO SEPARATE reservations to make this work. In previous visits, this was also the case, so it's not the people at the desk. It's your system. And it desperately needs an upgrade. Will I come back? I'll consider it if you do free parking. Otherwise, I'm going to another hotel.

The hotel had no knowledge of my reservation. I had to pay a higher rate than was quoted and expected. I will not use Booking.com ever again.

Nice clean hotel and room.

Good location for us. 2 very comfy queen beds were key. Dinner options at the quiet and well serviced bar vs in a very noisy club adjacent were easy to decide. CVS and bagel shop across the street. Didn’t like the unexpected $15 parking fee.
