This property is perfectly located to explore Solvang. It's at the very end of the main drag and easy to get around. Free parking underground is really great. The bar/lounge was comfortable and the small bites we had were good. The second room they gave us (after having to change from our original room) was huge...empty space, but big.

The first room we were assigned was a real disappointment. There was not 1 chair, nor was there a suitcase rack. Also the closet was only half-height, so my dresses hung on the floor. We changed rooms and got one on the 1st floor - BAD idea! The structure is wood, so all the noise from the circus group in the room above us made lights, sprinklers and wall art rattle! When i reported this to the front desk, they said they'd check on it, but nothing happened, it remained absolutely terrible! There was a desk chair and a 'dining table' type chair, but no place to sit and relax.

This was my second stay at Vinland, lovely hotel, personable staff, great drinks at the V Lounge - heated pool although I did not get in. They have Tesla Chargers as well as adapter for other EV's - only complaint was that the towels were a bit dingy and frayed.

Good location, comfortable room

They allowed dogs in the pool area. When we told the lobby folks there was a dog INSIDE the pool area they shrugged it off.
