Shilo Inn Suites Warrenton

After asking a floor preference opted for the higher view. I could not communicate with the attendant at front desk during check-in. Attendant was on the phone with an elevator technician service. I than found that this was for a large building that the the one elevator available for guests was out of order. I am disabled. The climb with or with my luggage was exhausting. Had i’ve been able to speak to the attendant during check-in and effectively, allowing temporary use of the service elevator and/or offering assistance with my luggage would have sufficed. The attendant also was unable to schedule a wake-up call even though they were offering the service but could not locate the computer function. There were several opportunities not taken to mitigate for these events.

Too bad the hot tub was down during our stay!

It was a nice stay overall. Took my boys swimming. Hot tub wasnt working and elevator was broken i was on the second floor. No breakfast cause their restaurant was closed down. Otherwise it was a good experience overall. Room was nice quiet spacious and convenient.

Dirty. Blood stains on floor

The cost exceeded $300 per night. The facility was in poor shape. Looked run down. Shortage of towels, no toiletries or soap, no blow dryer, poor internet, and they did not have coffee after the first day. The hot tub was not working. Seemed to be out of service for some time. The Shilo Inn Resturant next door was out of business. We booked three nights and left after the second night. On a positive note, the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect and fit our needs. This location needs a full renovation or cut the rates in half.

The team member that check us in was unprofessional and very rude at check in. She did not explain pool hours or lay of the hotel. Her tone was not friendly and she seemed bothered by having to help us. Our room had food on the floor, stains on the carpet and everything was dirty. The room had not been dusted in a while. Several amenities were not functioning, including the hot tub. Overall this was not the best experience. We did not feel welcome or warm and fuzzy about staying at this property. I will not return for another stay or recommend this to others.

The pictures online are very deceiving. We got there and there was a horrible smell, but I checked in anyway because we had drove along way and we were very tired. So we got the room key and went to our room. The room stunk, the side tables had stuff stuck to them ,the beds had yellowish looking stuff all over the covers and the bathroom was not clean. I told my husband and daughter we are leaving. I walked to the front put the keys on the counter and left. I have been trying to get a refund back, but they said its non refundable. The place is not kept up.

The check-in clerk was great. She made it to where our rooms were on the same floor. I spoke with her, after finding my room not completely clean. At first glance, it was great, clean, smelled nice, etc. Upon my check-in video, I noticed what appeared to be pee puddle stains around the room. Then finding clumps of dog hair under the eating table. When I was telling her she seemed genuinely shocked. She apologized multiple times and gave me the email for her manager to send him the pictures. (I did and have not received a reply, yet.) The pool is clean to a point, but cold! The hot tub was not working. Very loud starting at 4:30 am. (You can't fault the hotel for that. Many people leave at different times and seem to forget they're not at home.) No breakfast of any kind.Which is stated on the website. There is a Walgreens right across the parking lot. Snacks, drinks, and food items. There are plenty of large shops nearby such as Ross, Walmart, etc. The view was beautiful, as I watched the sunset from my window. (My Dad however had a view of the 1st floor roof.) If you just need a hotel to sleep it was great. The bed was perfect, sheets and blankets soft, plenty of pillows, and crisp clean towels. Coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator. The first floor had an ice machine and a vending machine. There was a small gym that seemed well supplied. They have a working sauna, plenty of parking, and the staff was great. It felt safe. I wish I called ahead to confirm amenities. 7/10

Your coffee is not very good

I don’t recommend this property it’s overpriced for the quality that they offer.
