Shell Island Resort - All Oceanfront Suites

I enjoyed the location, staff friendliness and the ocean view. I was able to open the balcony glass door and enjoy the ocean breeze and sounds. Overall good value.

Walls are a bit thin. I could hear the neighbors conversations and people walking by the room

The property was clean and short walk to beach. Enjoyed having restaurant at the facility.

We had a room with a king size bed. The sheets would not stay on the mattress. The first night was not restful. It is hard to sleep with a wad of sheets entangled around you. The second day I reported our unfortunate experience with the mattress cover and sheets. Housekeeping put new sheets on the bed but they weren’t any better than before. The elastic on the sheets were dry rotted. Our second night wasn’t any better. This resort was very nice but unfortunately we will probably not stay again because of the problems with the bed.

Ocean Front

The couch was dirty, and the toilet was not cleaned. We requested to change rooms, but the request was not granted. I'm very disappointed I stay at Shell Resorts several times a year.

The only difference this year was the pillows They wasn’t comfortable this time That’s the only thing

The peaceful beach, location and comfortable beds

No pool towels at the pool, you have to go ask the desk. Hot tub jets did not work.

The view was amazing! The property was quiet and clean.
