"Clean hotel - average stay"

We were disappointed in the lack of hot items and oatmeal for breakfast Saturday morning. Also no fresh fruit. A note was left out that the oven was broken. Disappointing as this is a huge weekend for the hotel due to University of Dayton’s Family weekend. The room was clean. But could use a little TLC. The doors are really knocked up, the bed frame on one bed had large metal piece sticking out (my husband hit his shin on it) and the bed mattress was sagging. The under rim of the toilet was really black, could use some extra elbow grease to clean it. The carpeting in the hallways is buckled and could cause a trip hazard. We had 2 good nights’ sleep, which is good. Just not sure if we will stay here again based on overall value.

"Would not choose this location again"

On the weekend, do not plan on protein with your breakfast. My stay had adequate breakfast on weekdays, but “broken” oven, oatmeal maker, and ability to serve hard boiled eggs on the weekend morning. Room was fine. AC was fine. Shower was fine.

This hotel was a little out dated. The door to our room was tough to open and close and the sink continually clogged up. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. It was the perfect place to stay as a runner in the Air Force Marathon. So some good qualities and some not so great!

"Very old property, kind of grimy. Poor Internet speeds."

Property badly needs a refresh. Very worn, old, grimy, etc, Internet speeds were terrible (0.04 Bit down. 0.1 up). I was "upgraded" without my consent to a room next to the elevator after picking one at the end of the hall. Staff really didn't care. Couldn't reach anyone by phone ahead of checkin. Would keep rolling back over. Tried the only other option for group sales, got a voicemail saying that number wasn't monitored any more.
