Modern Apartments in North York

Well equipped kitchen. Excellent location. Registration process was a nightmare. Having to do everything on-line ourselves was not easy. Trying to locate lock boxes was frustrating and stressful. Locating correct Parking Garage was an odyssey. After leaving keys in condo, could not access parking. Instructions should include: Go to lobby first so they can let you into parking. Overall, it was a very stressful one night stay for two seniors.

Exactly as described and a great location!!

Not being able to smoke on the balcony

It was “Basic” accommodation: the equivalent of a 3 star hotel. The amenities in the apartment were minimal, and basic quality eg. Bargain shampoo. It’s a noisy part of town, from street noise: good thing I had ear plugs. One good thing about the location is that there were several restaurants around the apartment, plus Whole Foods and Longo’s.

It’s expensive. The price that shows on Booking.com is reasonable, but when you add the extra fees, the price becomes expensive like a higher end hotel without the same amenities. You have to go to the garage of a different building to get the key and fob out of a lockbox, then go back to the actual location. The check-in and parking directions are decent but hard to read on a phone. The information was sent via WhatsApp, not email. Parking - there are two parking spots on the same floor of parking with the same unit number. The owner should specify in the instructions that there is an A combined with the spot number. It might seem obvious to some, but when you’re tired and frustrated from the day, the instructions should be clearer. They provide a You-Tube video which is useless to access when you’re in the parkade, and overall didn’t help. Also I lucked out being able to enter the garage when someone was coming out: there was no instruction about how to use the fob to enter the garage. I’m not sure if I had received instructions earlier in the day that I would have been less frustrated.

Very conveniently located. Directed above the TTC with lots of shoes and restaurants nearby. Parking included which is a huge plus.

Bed and bedding could be more comfortable

The location suited our needs to visit a relative. There is a wonderful restaurant next door. Clean, beds were comfortable and good showers.

Unnecessarily complicated to access the apartment with confusing instructions on how to get keys replete with an overlaid illegible map. Could simply state “Park on street for 5 minutes, access public parking level by stairs to get keybox, then enter residents parking lot with car”. It cost a frustrating $10 parking just to get the keys.
