Baymont Inn and Suites Douglasville Atlanta

It was one of the lower cost options in the area, but other than that, it was not a good experience. We requested a non-smoking room, but got one that smelled strongly of smoke. There were hairs in the bathroom and on the sheets. There was water all over the floor in the bathroom of our second room. In the room above us someone was running back and forth and for hours. It was very loud and kept us awake until about 1:30am. The sound insulation between floors was not good. The continental breakfast was only packaged muffins and coffee. The exercise room was closed and full of old mattresses. I realize that the COVID pandemic had something to do with it, but the quality of the facilities and services did not match the photos online.

I reserved a non smoking room, however I was put in a room that obviously was a smoking room. The beds and everything smelled horrible. I am not a smoker, which is why I requested to be added to a non smoking room. My clothes and everything was left smelling like cigarettes. Upon arrival, I wasn’t able to get inside the lobby. I am totally not satisfied

I paid for 6 nights and the front desk staff wrote down 5 nights, it was verifiable in the computer but since their log mentioned 5 by mistake the girl at the front desk tried over and over to get me to pay for a night I already paid for. She had to call the hotel manger at 10:30pm from his home to come in and verify we had another night. It was verified after over an hour wait, but this was extreme incompetence on the hired helps part. The family who runs the hotel is nice, friendly, and professional. If you visit this hotel deal with the nice Indian family who runs the hotel. Any other staff will jump liked you scared them when you approach the front desk. Their too busy on their phones being distracted. Decent hotel, good location, great price, horrible staff other than the Indian family who runs it are awesome. They seem to care. It’s hard to hire anyone who cares in a stimulus unemployment economy. I felt bad for the owners of the hotel. I’m sure when unemployment being less than actually working exist again this hotel will be awesome again.

I liked that our parking was close to our room when we entered and exited the building. There was a horrible sour smell in the hallway.

Low budget and nasty hotel. Stay somewhere else.

They don't have a very good breakfast

There were burn holes in the blankets,roaches in the room,balls of tp on the bathroom floor that looked like they fell out of someone's butt crack,doors slamming,stank like weed big time,and ppl screaming in the hallway. I went to the front desk to complain,the kid came up,told them to quiet down,sprayed my room for bugs and air freshener. Didnt make a difference bc I woke up in the morning to a roach chilling in the sink. So nasty!

We got a non smoking room which smelled like smoke, the whole wing did.. We had to pay a $50 deposit to hold to insure we wouldnt smoke in the room. was mentioned on the web site. Which clearly there was plenty that had. The site said free Breakfast. Only served prepacked danishes.
