Residency Hotels Astor Metropole

The place is very convenient (less than 5 minutes to central station, downtown). More surprisingly, I arrive at 8:00 am, and it's a big surprise that the hotel allow me for very early check-in. In enter the room and find that it's very spacious, and even with a mini-kitchen and all necessary cooking utensils!!!! Managers and officers are very kind, and clean up is very efficient. They even have discounted ticket to airport, and have indicator of remaining time of train departure. They even have morning call to remind customers to have breakfast. This is the most remarkable experience I have ever had. It's absolutely value for money.

I chose this property as it was stated free parking. when we arrived I was told there was no available free parking. I was asked what kind of car I had and when I said a ute I was told to go to the council car park down the road. Noise from the street was also an issue

I enjoyed how quick, quiet and friendly it all was.

Location is good. Parking reasonable. Kitchenette fully equiped. Room was quiet. We would stay here again.

The hotel and room was as expected and very convenient to CBD.

Booked a non-smoking room that had significant however the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, and I told them and they sprayed some chemical which was worse, so then had to argue to change rooms.

I was assigned to a room that was already occupied and walked in on a couple in bed. Nice work Best Western, not staying there again.

A little dated but comfortable. Good central location.
