The place was in need of a makeover. The pool was under repair so it wasn’t usable which I did not know when booking. There was a centipede in the shower. The room smelled like someone lives there such as an apartment. It was not as advertised it’s mainly for people who want to live in a hotel. The sheets remakes of bleach now I know why the booking was non refundable when I booked

Staff was welcoming and able to sort out some confusion at check in. Hotel clean with amenities. Nothing special but a decent place to stay, was super close to where I needed to be so worked well for that. Note to booking.com users: if your name is not the main account holder, this hotel will not check you in without explicit authorization from the account holder. My husband is the holder by name but has never used the account (I do our bookings) but I almost had to forfeit my reservation because of this (despite sharing the same last name). Apparently it happens a lot, but in my many years of travel it's a first for me.

Paid wifi is a surprise at the rates you pay, but I generally travel in Europe so perhaps that's standard in the US. The hotel breakfast, though a reasonable selection, has no charm at all, a cold, windowless (or window-poor) conference room. I was shocked to see a Hilton franchise using disposable plates and cutlery - both as it really demeans the otherwise decently appointed place and in this day and age to not even make a nod to the environment is really unforgivable. Also, renovations in the lobby were very noisy, though assume this is temporary and probably over by the time this is published.

The location is great and has many options of restaurants to choose from within a mile. Room was clean, neat. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. I would stay here again.

I would have liked more variety of channels on the TV and the pool could have been a little cleaner. Seemed cloudy to me.

The pool was very nice. The room was big and clean. The shower was AMAZING! some of the hotel was under renovation but was quiet while we were there and was still very clean even on the other side of the construction areas. The breakfast was in a different location because of the renovation but was definitely not lacking. Good food with a wide selection. It was a very nice hotel already so we can't wait to see it finished! We didn't have much interaction with the staff but they were all friendly and smiling and said hello while we were walking by!

I traveled for work and usually stay at the Desmond (which I recommend!) but this trip was trying to save a little money while sticking with Hilton. I now understand why this property is so much cheaper than the Desmond. Though the rooms are spacious, with a full sized fridge and kitchen, etc, everything is so worn and dated. The first room I checked into had 2 non-working TVs. Hailey at the front desk was very kind and apologetic and moved me to another room. She’s the only reason for the second star. In my second room, the hot water in the shower is a bit of Russian roulette - is it scalding and going to burn the sh*t out of you, or is it non-existent? Nobody knows, but good luck! Housekeeping is… weird. They didn’t show up at all the first day. The second day, they left a pile of clean towels on the bathroom counter, took half the dirty dishes from the kitchen and left the other half, didn’t change or make the bed - and I guess they called it a day at that point. I definitely won’t be staying here again.

Excellent staff

The central air-conditioning was out of order and wind A/C units had been poorly installed leaving gaps where the noise from Rt. 202 and insects could get through. This was a 2-bedroom suite and there was no window in the kitchen/living room so no A/C. We had to use a fan to draw cool air from a bedroom. The problem with the central A/C was known by management well in advance of our stay but we were not informed. Curtains were stained, torn and some were missing. The kitchen faucet was missing its handle. one of the toilets was constantly running. The lack of maintenance in this Homewood is astounding.

The property was near restaurants and stores. Rooms and hotel was clean but there was a stain on side of mattress and holes on cushion on couch. Staff was nice and helpful but it seemed like the guy at the front desk had to do it all. The pool was nice. Breakfast was good. Plenty of options. There was no lights on the side of the hotel when you park to go in the sode door. We had to use the flash lights to see. We would stay again if we were in the area.
