Extended Stay America Suites - Pensacola - University Mall

The place is dirty. No bed skirt. Photos on the website has not been updated. Trash everywhere in the parking. The staff are nice though. They also have a security deposit for $150 you won't get it back until 5-7 days. Not happy with this place.

Nothing but the staff. They were friendly but thats all.

The rooms were not clean at all. Items was very old and dirty. Things are rusted. I couldn't sleep because it sounded like a child running back n forth all night above my head. The floors are fake hardwood so sounded like was gonna come through the floor. Two of the three lights we had didn't work. Its terrible that places make their pictures look really nice or decent and they arent at all.

I had requested a handicap room with a walking shower when I got there was none. When I tried to get out of the tub,the thing that they had for the floor .slipped and I almost fell. I had to go get a proper bath mat so I could take a shower. The curtains had holes in them . The counter in the kitchen area was coming off. Even in a cheap motor they given you a coffee maker. The counter space in the bathroom was almost nonexistent. There was no place to put any supplies. The elevator keep juking and almost nocked me off my feet. The staff did not care and just shrugged there shoulders.

I liked that they moved us to a better room and let us know that the elevator was very slow at the same time i need to say that was pet friendly.

the first room was very poor on the clean, the entire room smelled like humidity, Elevator was very slow and the breakfast no bread no eggs at all no juice.

i enjoyed the size of the rooms that had a fridge and microwave with a mini kitchen.

the cigarette smell in the hall ways was definitely very noticeable plus the dirtyness in the bathroom. at night there was definitely some shady characters hanging outside that made you feel a little uneasy especially if you’re traveling with family. the cigarette smell also would linger into room if you didn’t have air running through your room.

The bed was uncomfortable Found blood on my pillow cases on my first night. Informed staff who changed my linens Second night - this is a non smoking hotel and my bathroom reeked of cigarette smoke really bad! I have asthma so I went to the front desk to complain. Staff spoke to people next door. Hotel still smells like smoke Carpet is icky - need shoes to walk on the carpet in the room Stained carpet in the hallway There is a kitchen in the room but no utensils, plates, cups or pans (you have to ask the front desk (not sure if there is a cost)) Breakfast is just grab and go - dry muffins and/or energy bar, instant grits along with coffee/tea
