Hyatt Place Chicago Schaumburg

Not worth it, there's plenty of better places within Schaumburg. People shouldn't work in certain areas of an establishment if they're not open to all walks of line. Management is deceptive and condescending. Overall poor experience. 1st and last time at this specific establishment.

very nice place , convenient to shopping and restaurants, not far from the loop. comfortable beds and a lot of room . I could work , while my niece watched tv and neither of us was disturbed by the other.

There wasn't much to dislike about this place but if I had to say something it would be that the pool was closed and the room was ice cold when we arrived.

The reception staff at this hotel makes you feel unwelcome. Room was large and everything clean and worked. No housekeeping service on day 2 and when I inquired reception lady was kind of rude and inquired if "I had requested it in advance?" No one mentioned at check in that daily housekeeping is on request only. Listened to reception at check in tell the guest in from of me the little cafe is open from 3pm-7pm. At 3:30 I order a pizza and she tells me the cafe is closed and won't be opening all day. The bar is open until 11pm, but the reception staff doubles as bartender which I have see at other Hyatt Places which is fine, but the girl behind the desk wasn't old enough to serve alcohol. So yes, bar is open late as long as you don't want alcoholic beverages once she starts her shift. Breakfast was ok, but dis not change during multiple mornings as other Hyatt Place's do. Overall experience was that it felt like I was an inconvenience to the reception staff if I asked for anything other than just my room key.
