Stockghyll Cottage

Adrian & Heather were excellent hosts. They were extremely accommodating for our special needs. We had an early morning departure and they provided us with hot breakfast earlier than their regular times. Also due to lots of rain, we had soaking wet boots and clothes - they got everything all dried out for us. We really enjoyed chatting with them about their lovely cottage and the history of the area. Everything was super clean.

Having to leave!

Mooie en gezellige accommodatie met een prachtige tuin met privé waterval. Meerdere zitjes om in de tuin te verblijven. Heerlijke douche.

Lovely cottage.very friendly staff. Our room was the smallest. Needs a little bit of TLC. The extractor fan kept on starting up through the night.we could hear the man in the next room snoring. The waterfall in the back garden is idyllic ! And the location is absolutely brilliant for access to bowness on Windermere !

Nets at the windows so we could open them without bugs gaining access.a bit of redecorating and sorting out the extractor fan .
