Good parking, friendly staff, good food

My problems I am not good on stairs but knew that the bedrooms were on first floor before booking

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, always important to us. The breakfast was very good and we really enjoyed it, there was a good choice. Right from the outset the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing to not like.

The evening meal was very poor. Had to send back the starters because rent was stone cold. The main meal was bland.

Lovely period property with tasteful modern decor set in a central and convenient location. Large and comfortable rooms (even the ‘cosy’ ones) and a generous outside garden area with tables.

Would have liked some grab rails in the bathroom, particularly in bath and shower area. The cutlery knives didn’t cut food easily at all. Otherwise everything else was fine.
