Needed extra chairs

Late check in due to cleaner issues. Had multiple groups waiting outside the key collection point in the same boat. Place is showing signs of wear as they are obviously built on a budget. If going in summer prepare for the morning sun and the heat through the windows. AC is not adequate. Unfortunately its a really grotty area of the city too. MCC should be ashamed.

Apartment not cleaned properly, with sticky floors and benches. There was a lack of utensils, plates, pots and pans for a 3bdr apartment. Drains were clogged in the showers and sinks in the bathrooms, full of hair. Communication was terrible, you cannot speak to a person, or get any reply to texts or emails, for even urgent matters. There is nowhere to keep luggage and you only get one set of keys that you must pick up from a third party (bnb concierge) several blocks away that is only open from 9-4, is always packed with people and understaffed.

The host was very accommodating. The place was comfortable and spacious.

The parking

Wasn’t clean until 6pm in the afternoon and the wifi didn’t work at all

Location is very central and easy walk to shops, supermarket and plenty of dining options close by.

It is just not clean. Couch covered in stains, showers had hair in them. The bin had empty beer cans and rubbish in it from previous occupants. Some of the bath mats had dirty marks on them. Windows had hand prints on them. Balcony absolutely filthy. Dust on some of the walls. Carpet stained, walls had black marks and damage. Contacted the property on arrival and they said they would pass the feedback on to the cleaners…no effort to come and rectify. You have to give over all of your personal information prior. I was also contacted relentlessly via text, WhatsApp and email via booking.com about check in, check out, providing details, taking large security deposit. Just felt a bit invasive, especially when the accommodation is just not that great. If it was actually clean it would make all the difference.
