Kasa Altmayer Savannah

The best part of this property was the location. It was super conveniently located in downtown Savannah. HOWEVER, every other aspect of this stay was beyond annoying. The check-in information was never sent. After contacting Expedia and the property manager numerous times I finally got access at 9 pm (check in was 4 pm). There is no front desk so everything is access coded smart locks. As if that wasn’t excruciating enough the building itself smelt bad, the floors in the studio were dirty, the bed sheets were dirty, and the paper thin walls allowed us to hear the next door neighbors open every kitchen cabinet and drawer at 2 AM…. Would not recommend staying here. Spend the extra money for an actual hotel down the street.

My staff was no better than a two-star hotel. The unit was nice until I used the restroom. I was unable to watch local channels on the television. The lady that was having a fight with her companion in the hallway for 30 minutes at 2:00 am was really scary and disappointing.

Super simple check in, wildly convenient, clean and comfortable.

The unit itself was spacious and well appointed

The entryway to the building has a very rancid sour smell that lingered into the elevator. To the point where I would brace myself when entering the building. The smell was not present on our floor. Also, the shower has very weak water pressure.

Very big, full kitchen, fold-out bed.

An odd smell, probably cleaning chemicals.

The property was clean, in a good location for walking in town,and secure. The space was quiet and the fully equipped kitchen was great. The check in and out instructions were easy to follow. A good value for the money.

We were asked to take out our trash upon leaving(not mandatory) but the building had no disposal facilities. Also we received notice the air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly only after arriving even though the problem seemed to be months old based on customer reviews stretching back to April. Thankfully the weather wasn’t too hot so it wasn’t a big issue.
