Mercure London Heathrow Hotel

Quiet and convenient. Friendly staff.

My partner and I like coming to the Mercure for a few of the staff members they have. They provide warm customer normally. However, this trip, while we were staying for a little over 2 weeks, they put us in a room on the 1st floor and we could not control the climate in the room. We had to rely on calling reception to make the room warmer or cooler. As a result, the room was always either too cold or too hot. It was very frustrating. The woman at the desk who did our initial checkin I thought was rather rude. I'm used to customer service not being ad warm as it is in the US, but the initial check in service was really quite terrible. We were on our honeymoon, so this start to the trip really put a damper on things.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel. My room was lovely and spacious. It was very clean and was cleaned and tidied every day which was very good. The bar lady was extremely friendly and polite. Only downside was the parking at £16 per night which is a bit too expensive. I would consider staying again if the car parking was less.

Beds need updating, kettle in the room lid was broken. When I poured hot watwr into cup thenlid went flying off along with hot water scalding me. When I told reception, he said they would look at kettle. No apology, no concern!!

- Easy to find - Spent a bit of time trying to find somewhere to park but enough space - Friendly staff at check in - Small but very clean room - bed ok - good number of pillows - iron and ironing board in room - really good pressure shower - great towels - didnt get to try breakfast - v near Heathrow

The property was fine, a bit far from the metro. It is well attended. Staff at the restaurant was great same as the bar. Staff do not know their way around the area and there are no pamphlets to know where to go

Checking in was nice and simple, foyer was clean, spacious and looked nice. Lift needs a number 1 button, even though I figured it out myself. Door to my room was small, I had lots of stains on my carpet. Broken tile on the bathroom wall. Only two plug socket’s in my room one low down under the floor length mirror and the other on top where the kettle plugs in. No instructions on how to use the phone let alone a marked button that says reception, I would not have touched it if I’m honest as it looked disgusting.

Super quiet, good pub up the road serving excellent curries. hotel rooms have a bath! Good proper breakfast, only downside - cold plates so yum food not great. Still go every year. Recommend.

9 out of 10 for all aspects of the hotel accept for the restaurant where service was polite but poor. It was slow and muddled

There was so cold room then they changed us to another cold room with separate beds,I fall down to this bed so terrible,very cold rooms!
