Holiday Inn Northampton West M1 Junc 16, an IHG Hotel

Very clean hotel very friendly staff and felt very safe with the current restrictions in place.

Our one night stay was excellent. Clean and the bed was nice and soft. The shower was hot. Had an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was a nice sized portion and it hit the spot as well as it being cooked exactly the way I like it.

Very friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Was safe with all covid guarding in place. Was quiet after about 8.30. Best nights sleep in ages, helped with air con. Will definatly stay again

I couldn’t fault the staff. But to basically Call to check we could get dinner and then finding the option when we arrived was chicken burger or a chicken Cesar salad. No lager at all, surely a shop is close enough to get some bottles and lead to profit at their costs anyway.

Nice hotel, clean rooms in good condition, friendly staff throughout. Lovely bathroom, but shower pressure pathetic. Only other downside was coffee machine in breakfast room was weak

I loved the decor in the bar and communal areas, it looked wonderful!

Miserable receptionist who didn't even look up when we approached check-in. Room was fine, bed comfortable, and location quiet. Nothing around the area but close to motorway.

I had booked double room with sofa bed. 2 adults and my 15 year old daughter. At check in at 3pm, the room I was given was a double. I rang reception and was told that they do not have room for 3 ppl. Then they said if I could wait 15 mins, they can shift us to another room which needs cleaning first. After 30 mins, we were shifted to another room which had sofa bed for our daughter. However, as there were no cleaners, the receptionist quickly made beds and gave us the key. The room was not cleaned to standard. Also we had to ask for set of 3rd towels.

Nice but basic. Bathroom needed a good clean, were initially put in family room with extra bed unmade and it was freezing, they soon swapped us and sorted it. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. Not the 4* I was expecting
