Courtyard by Marriott Florence

Beds were comfortable. Coffee was good.

Upon arrival after a very long travel day, our first room they gave us the sheets were absolutely filthy & covered in stains. They gave us new room right down the hall which was even worse. The bathroom was NOT cleaned at all prior to checking in, random hairs & even an old bar of soap that wasn’t ours. Save your money & go a few more exits up.

I wish they offered a free breakfast Continental style that would put the finishing touches on it the stay at least

The staff seemed like they would rather be anywhere other than there. We asked to switch rooms because it was still dirty - the sink and toilet weren’t cleaned and there was garbage around the room. Our second room was only a bit better

The first room, the bathroom was dirty. Front desk gave us a second room with no balcony and the phone didn’t work. Gina tried to make it right with a coupon to eat for free but, gave us the wrong time for breakfast, so we missed it. The third room had a patio with no outside furniture and there was no hot water for a shower. I will never stay here again.

When we first checked in everything went well, when we got to the room it was oblivious there had been some sort of a mistake instead of a King bed with a sofa pull out it only a single king bed. So I went back down to see if the desk could help. The checked the reservation and said this is what Expedia reserved for me. So I checked my reservation. And sure enough it was a classic bait and switch, another desk clerk admitted they had ‘over sold’ these rooms, can Marriot spell FRAUD, we shall see !

Excellent place to stay when traveling through Florida!

Just awful. The hotel is absolutely filthy. Our first room must have had smokers in it right before we checked in. The smell was so strong. By the time we got to the second room, we were happy there was no scent and didn’t notice the filth right away. By the time we saw how awful it was, it was late and had no energy to change rooms again. Here are the highlights: the bathroom door had brown hand prints, the wall was stained above the toilet, the sheet had a spot of what looked like blood. I don’t even want to talk about the shower with the hair in it. I wish the pictures came out clearer. There was garbage left on the chair. Just keep going, there are plenty of other hotels in the same area.

Lots of room in the Lobby for gatherings. But the drama and police showing up to control an off duty employee was ridiculous. Folks hanging out making a huge mess and not cleaning up afterwards. And tons of smoking in the hotel - but cigarettes Just overall nit great. Won’t stay here again. Room was okay but not super clean.

The room was next to the elevator engine room , could not sleep loud noise and vibration coming from there it was so loud all night , the balcony is full cigarettes buds
