There was no breakfast while they advertised breakfast and there was a lot of duck poop we had to duck and dodge and there was big rats

I very rarely write a negative review, but my experience here this past weekend could not be ignored. This property is under heavy construction which is not divulged beforehand. The staff acted as if any questions were a bother even though because if the construction, it is very confusing. There was no working phone in the room. The walls, halls, etc leading to the room had stripped paint, ripped out places where something had previously hung, and there was construction equipment inside. The washer in the laundry room wasnt working. The outside is in desperate need of updating/repair. I couldn't believe this was a Courtyard by Marriott facility (thought I was in the wrong place). Geese everywhere (and their poop), so getting inside was like walking through a minefield! So glad that I had only booked one night (this was a holiday weekend). The place we stayed for the next night was a refreshing experience in comparison.

Did not like anything, the worst hotel I have ever been to in my life. No phone in the room, refrigerator not working, everywhere smells, still going through renovations & shouldn’t be open for business

Booking site needs to be updated. It says breakfast included, but they did not have it. Also, they are under construction right now, and everything looks different from the pics.

relaxing little staycation!

Property was not reflective of photos shown. Aside from the obvious renovations (sign posted), hallways were hot with no air conditioning. My room did not contain a trash can as well as the customer greeting on the television home screen showed another guest's name. Also the parking lot was filled with trash. As a frequent guest based on my hotel chain preference, this property was below the standard of the Marriott standard.

You have been warned. Please read reviews before you book so that you know what your getting into for the value of your money. This was one of the worst Marriott experiences I have had. Marriott you must hold your independents to a higher standard for the experience even for your entry level hotels. Being under construction was not the issue because you don't see any work being done. What is an issue is the hallways and elevators having not having air when your city is under and extreme heat advisory. What is an issue is the floors, carpet and, hallways, elevators being dirty. What is an issue is not up keeping the outside beatified grass not cut, hedges not trimmed, trash and construction debris laying around not properly stored. What is an issue is not noting on your website no food available. What is an issue is not having a working TV in the room and asking for maintenance for 2 days and not ever getting it resolved. What is an issue is the layout to the bathroom in the room extremely small and no privacy to get dress. What is an issue if the value of the price to the experience. MARRIOTT!! do better
