Nisswa Hotel and Suites

We DIDNT stay but we still had to pay. You advertise you have a pool but it’s down until December which yes is written in the policy’s print hidden but you shouldn’t be able to say you have a pool when it’s down til December. The desk attendant was beyond rude.

I would only recommend this as a place to sleep for one night. But I will not go back. Pool closed for maintenance. Probably long term. No breakfast of any type provided despite it being advertised on their own web page, the sign AT THE DESK and the booklet in the room. Clerk did not offer that information until being asked about it after I checked in. No refrigerator in my room despite being advertised. The other room for our group did have one. Part time staff. No one on duty after 8 AM on Sunday morning. A phone number was left in case of emergency. Before she left, the clerk reluctantly made a carafe of coffee but only after being asked to get rid of the stale coffee from the day before. She wasn't sure if they had any coffee packets but managed to find one. However, the room was clean, the beds and pillows comfortable, it was quiet and the TV worked.

Best part of the stay was that one bed was clean and comfortable, the a/c worked. The room quality was lacking. One bed was totally worn out, the pillows flat, and the towels thin and scratchy. Broken/damaged lamp shade, hole in the wall where door handle had smashed hole, shower water pressure very low. The TV is tiny, maybe 28". Both pool and hot tub were non-functional. While free breakfast is advertised, there is no breakfast. There is only coffee, sometimes cold. Their beverage machine advertised orange juice, and chocolate milk. But both were out. I would recommend that Expedia and Trip Advisor update their information on this hotel. It is NOT a good deal even at $92/nt.

Pool and hot tub out of order, and no free breakfast, as listed on website. This should be made clear at or before taking registrations. Also, three night stay with no housekeeping.

The hotel was inexpensive. It was clean, but there was no continental breakfast when they that said it was included. Not even any coffee.

Wouldn’t stay again

Expedia and the Owner and Management for Nisswa Inn and Suites should be charged with fraud. The hot tub and pool are not in service and have not been for 4 years. The cleanliness is nonexistent, and I was told there there was not continental breakfast upon arrival to check in which was also falsely advertised as having breakfast. I am demanding a refund for this reservation that was never fulfilled and will report this as fraud if I am not refunded for it properly.

Great service and the place was clean. The pool is out of service and they DO NOT serve breakfast, contrary to what it says on Expedia. The owner said the room was discounted for that reason, but I booked the room looking to soak in a hot tube after a long day at the race track. Apparently Expedia was notified of these changes but hasn't updated the info on the booking registration. It was good for the price and it made sense why the room was so cheap compared to the rest of the hotels in the area. Just a heads up.

Main reson i booked the room was for the pool that was closed... also there was no continental breakfast as advertised

sked Emanuel if they had a pool and hot tub and he said yes they do and they are both working. and Emanuel also said they have one room left at this rate he advised me on. so I said ok lets make the reservation. We get to the hotel and there are three vehicles in the parking lot not filled up at all they do not need to lie when you make the reservation. We got to the hotel and the lady behind the counter was rude and mean we checked in and we went to our room and could not get in the lady behind the counter came with her key card and let us in, so we got organized and everything and went to go looking around we came still could not get into our room the mean lady behind the counter never activated our room keys. Then we find out the pool and the hot tub re not working what a joke. Ran into the manager and told her what was going on but she didn't even seem to care. I feel I should be given a refund for the pool and the hot tub not working and the lady being so rude to me and my grandsons. I recommend don't stay there. I will never stay there again
