Travelodge by Wyndham Waukegan Gurnee

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff was very courteous while I needed my room changed because of some issues. The cost was very affordable and I think more could be done to lower the price when point is used as I am a Gold member.But overall, I enjoyed my 2 night stay at travelodge. Thank you.

They took my charger to my phone and they was very rude

Nasty smell, towel broken, sheet dirty and cigarette burn no vending machines, everything is old, the trash can is in the hallway on your way to the rooms, rooms are big, hot water, i heard people fighting in the next room, the smell of cigarette in the hallway they mix the non smoker with the smoker rooms,

The hotel was kept clean but there was a lingering smell of smoke in the lobby and throughout the halls. It was an old and newer smoke so even though there is no smoking its still allowed. We went out to lobby at 7:00 and there was no breakfast or coffee available. When I asked about coffee he said they had none like I was crazy to ask. The staff were not very friendly

The staff was extremely rude the hotel was full of garbage once getting to my room I had make up on pillow cigarette burns on the comforter make up on the pillows then there was semen on one of the comforters just a horrible experience for me and my son

The lady at front desk was rude and when I tried to explain she spoke to a man in their language. I stopped in to see if I can check in early, but she rudely explained that I cannot check in early because the room had to be thoroughly cleaned. I came back at check in time but she tried to argue with me about security deposit. I paid her, but when I went into the room, I was completely shocked because if we couldn’t check is because the room had to be thoroughly clean, she should get new cleaners their pillows were yellow and dingy and hat, black stains on it. We picked up the mattress just to make sure there were no bedbugs, but they had dead flies and a McDonald’s wrapper and some sausage underneath the mattress. I went downstairs and told her because I was completely disgusted and I should call Expedia because it was not her problem. She never got any complaints and I was silly because I was asking so many questions and charging less than usual for security deposit but it had to be paid in cash and she doesn’t have to tell me why and I was just supposed to call Expedia if I had any questions or complaints about the establishment. I ended up checking out and renting another place for two nights.

New management is needed there. Upgrades to linen and mattresses are needed. The place was very low-quality with disrespectful tenants, arguing with hotel staff members in the middle of the hallway after 10:30pm. Bloody sheets and dirty floors. Drug dealers outside. I have photos also.

The hotel was so dirty n no breakfast n no late check out they try n scam out 20 dollars for a deposit that has to be cash only they refuse to change room wen complained there is a horrible smell in the hallways blood on the walls stains on the sheets

Dilapidated. Roaches.
