Travelodge by Wyndham Waukegan Gurnee

Online it is listed as pet friendly, however when we got there it said no pets. Room was gross, holes in the wall, holes in the bed spread, stained sheets and the towels were in worse shape than my garage rags. Absolutely, no basics in the room. Had to ask for shampoo and dryer. If I were a Wyndham executive I wouldn't want my name associated with this hotel.

Very unhealthy and unclean room

This is the first hotel that I have ever stayed at with such poor conditions. The entire hotel is run down, it smells, it's dirty, sheets and towels are stained. Toilet seat and Tub are stained. The sheet had Cigarette burnt holes in them. I would never stay at this hotel again unless it was an emergency and as a very last resource. I do want to stress that the staff were very nice and friendly.

Just by walking in the place is creepy and smells really bad. The Room was dirty, had a weird smell, window was broken and so we’re the locks to the window and we were in the 1st floor. Anyone could have came in. Covers and pillow cases had very noticeable stains on them. The staff is weird and dishonest. When I asked the person at the front desk to return my deposit ($30) when checking out he only tried returning half my deposit thought maybe I’d forgot and then caught an attitude when I asked for the rest of my money. Would never recommend to anyone.

As you walk in, smelled marjuana coming from the check in counter. Floors and carpet were very dirty. Room were not clean, there was trash in the trash bins and room smelled had horrible smell. Talked to the front desk and they called manager, Mrs. Patel, she said that there was no cleaning service until next day. I told her that we could not stay because of the horrible conditions. I Had three nights reservation Before I left the motel manager said that she will refund the money but later she refunded for two nights. I will not recommend this place at all!!

This was the worst hotel ever people were arguing and fighting in the hallway and outside and it smelled so badly and was very disgusting not cleaned at all most nasty place ever I will never stay there again
