"Good but not great"

6.0

Location and spaciousness Good breakfast

“Open-plan” Shower is a joke with no partition and flooding of the bathroom after each shower. Food prices quite expensive . So called Sunset Bar has no sunset views, especially in March.

"Very good"

8.0

Lovely place. Beautiful coral reef. Picturesque view. Friendly and helpful staff at reception.

The service at the restaurants and bars is disgusting. We had a special event - birthday to celebrate. I booked a table at Paris restaurant and we spent a whole damn hour with just a bottle of water. And they never brought birthday cake as were promised. Fortunately, there is a neighbor hotel Story, which I could highly recommend for dinners.

"Pleasant"

Good variety of food during breakfast and dinner, nice location with easy access to beach. Very friendly staff.

The room was not suitable for a family with kids (stairs in middle of room & open shower/bath tub). Room was invaded by ants that went on clothes and in bags. Family room could be closer to entrance.

"Appreciation for Outstanding Assistance and Care"

10.0

The hotel staff were extremely responsible and kind. After an incident while surfing, several staff members immediately came to my aid, brought me an ice pack, and coordinated with emergency services. They then transported me to the nearest clinic using the hotel’s vehicle and remained by my side throughout the treatment process. Finally, they brought me back to the hotel and continued to check on my recovery in the following days. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the hotel’s service staff.

Trailfinders booked this hotel for me and it was a great choice. On arrival at 0930 I was greeted so kindly and they got my room ready as I had some breakfast. The room was spacious and had everything I needed including the nicest outside area with table and chair. 2 bottles of fresh, filtered water are provided every day and there is greeting on your bed when you arrive and also on your television! Breakfast was my favourite meal: views over the sea, prosecco, omelette’s and other eggs cooked to order, piles of fresh fruit and the orange juice it so fresh it has an inch of fruit pulp on top. I had lunches and snack dinners in the Cocoloca bar and these were good. The Pina coladas and virgin Pina colada’s were delicious. The pool and loungers are good - if you walk along the path from this area you can get down onto the beach. Walking along the beach is quicker to the other restaurants and shops rather than using the road at the front. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away on foot (turn left at the hotel gates) but beware of the hostile service and they’ll serve local people ahead of you and shrug. The supermarkets in and around the police station (a further 5 minute walk) are better. You’re supposed to get cards for the buses at a supermarket but the 2 I asked at said no. Not sure what that’s about because your hotel will tell you to get a bus card at the supermarkets. Jambu in the restaurant and Manda and Aigerim on reception are so professional and kind. All were very helpful with any task or question and I thank them for their good service. I stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, there is a good atmosphere and I felt welcome and relaxed. I would recommend the hotel and I would return but I WOULDN’T have any laundry done. 6 small pieces that I had laundered cost me £96 sterling. Yep. £96. Disgraceful and I now see why complimentary Prosecco is on the buffet table

"Second Seychelles Experience in 7 months!"

10.0

I had been a guest at Fisherman's Cove sister resort just seven months ago. I had enjoyed Story I decided to give Fisherman's Cove a try and didn't regret my choice. Check in was quick and simple but my only criticism would be to look after early arrivals (I got there not long after 8am). Story welcomed my party last year with a helpful request to enjoy a breakfast whilst we waited for room to be prepared. Although a cup of coffee was offered here and certainly welcomed, perhaps the customer experience could be improved with an offer to make use of breakfast facilities... I really don't eat much at breakfast! All staff were welcoming, asked after my well being and importantly used my name which when travelling solo is much appreciated. I felt as if I could ask anything of any member of staff and receive perfect service, from restaurant staff to Reception and room cleaning staff, all of whom remained friendly, polite and respectful. I was very impressed with the variety of food available on half board with breakfasts impeccable and evening meals showing a variety of influences. On a couple of occasions I was so impressed with the food I went back for more and would make that a tribute to the skills of the chefs. Would I go back? Certainly and now I am even more familiar with the locale could make better use of my navigation skills. I did return to Mahek Indian Restaurant along the beach for lunch once or twice which was nice. Fisherman's Cove is a lovely place to relax and recharge batteries in a five star location with a five star experience with staff

"A Wonderful Stay!"

8.0

We really loved our short stay at Fisherman’s Cove. Traditional set amongst lush greenary. Reception team were very friendly & helpful. Our room was comfortable, the bed too & the balcony which over looked the Indian Ocean & the gorgeous pool was perfect. The downside it offered little privacy regards the shower & toilet! Made us laugh though ! Great location from which to walk & explore the local area inc Mahe Beach & eateries. A lovely vibe. We took a couple of excursions easily arranged at the hotel. Would we stay again? ABSOLUTELY YES !
