Perfect location for what we wanted.

The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel was generally pretty nice, with a lovely garden area. Great location with good amenities nearby.

Reception staff unfortunately are the reason I hold a somewhat negative perception. They seemed untrained and were unprofessional. We had a few issues with validating car parking. After we were told we wouldn’t have to pay, they later said we had to and were poor with communicating what was going on and saying ambiguous comments about whether we’d be fined. Next, the pool was advertised for hotel guest use, however, there were hundreds of families queuing so we were concerned that we were unable to use it. We asked for help on what to do about this and staff were again very poor at helping, reassuring and communicating. We were told that there would be reserved spaces for hotel guests around the pool but there wasn’t, it seemed they didn’t have a concern about pool capacity with the queue being the length of the garden which was very disappointing. We were told if we wanted time by the pool to come at 7am!
