The initial welcome was quite bad and it tainted the other staff interactions but the others were very nice and welcoming. The first was riddled with biases presumptions and hopefully not prejudices. The surfaces in the room weren't clean, hair on the bed and bath, dirty floor needs a hoover, stains on sheets curtains and netting, very uncomfortable mattress (I felt every spring) there was no explanation of breakfast times or location. After check in time, the cleaners were still there and there were sheets and etc outside the rooms, it felt like they weren't really ready. It wasn't a nice stay and then I just felt like everything was dirty so wasn't nice. Tea and coffee facilities but no spoon or stirrer to make them with, water in the fridge was not cold and the fridge was not pleasantly scented, yeah no return for me and mine

The area and surroundings are perfect and the wedding venue we attended was beautiful. The pool is great and very popular and busy but not just for residents.

The room we stayed in wasn’t very clean especially the bathroom. The shower gels attached to walls were empty. No signs off robes and slippers that’s advertised and the breakfast situation wasn’t clear. No communication from staff. No allergy book or menus for the breakfast. Asked for gluten free and wasn’t asked if I was a coeliac or if I had an allergy. Breakfast came out with no bacon and fried eggs which was asked for but received grilled tomato’s which I said no too and added BROCCOLI and PEPPERS?? On a cooked breakfast?
