Non c'è l'aria condizionata ed a Maggio avevamo 28 gradi in camera, per respirare la notte abbiamo dovuto lasciare le finestre aperte e c'era un rumore fisso per tutta la notte, e per terra abbiamo trovato un paio di mutande dei precedenti frequentatori. Had the misfortune of staying at this hotel during a heatwave and it was the worst night's sleep we have ever had at any hotel. There is no air conditioning throughout the hotel and I can only describe the room as absolutely boiling. One small fan was provided which did nothing but move hot air around, the windows barely open 2 inches, the shower was hot water only so we couldn't cool down that way and the fridge was not cold at all. With the room being so small and poky there was no way it will ever be cool and anyone staying at this hotel whilst the outside temperature is anything over 20 degrees with likely have a hot, stuffy and uncomfortable stay. Room was sold as a privilege room but it was anything but. It was narrow and in the eaves which made half the length of the room unusable. The eaves came right over the bed which was not only awkward it was downright dangerous as I smacked my head hard. Two of the lights in the room didn't work, the shower gel and shampoo dispensers in the shower were empty and decor and furniture tired and outdated. Added to that, the lift only goes to the second floor so to get to our room on the third floor meant taking luggage up steep and narrow stairs and then along a long narrow and dark corridor (lights were meant to come on automatically, but this happened after we had walked the length of the corridor!). Totally unsuitable for anyone with any sort of mobility issues. We literally could not wait to check out and leave this hotel. Breakfast was disappointing with cold, congealed eggs and no jam available as apparently someone had "forgotten to order it". The only plus side was the location of the hotel being very convenient for central Oxford.

Love the location especially for May morning!

Teabags were a bit weird. Usually you get some varied teabags in sachets of different varieties. We just had two naked teabags both of one variety.

The new wing is made very well and is air conditioned

There’s no network at the property but i think that’s an Oxford wide issue

No air conditioning No phone in the room No water Broken hairdryer Mould and dirt on the walls in bathroom Loose toilet seat and loo roll holder Broken mouldy window in shower area Only one window in the bedroom that opened a very small amount 18 steps from 2nd to 3rd floor and no lift, they didn’t ask about mobility issues or offer any help with the suitcase. I did them the courtesy of discussing it at reception simply asking for the bathroom to be cleaned etc but nothing happened. I had to request water and a replacement hairdryer a second time. Absolutely a sad, dated 3 star hotel. Only redeeming feature is the location. Just don’t bother.

L'emplacement, le calme, la propreté, la terrasse extérieure le soir pour terminer la soirée.

La télévision n'a pas marché de tout le séjour car il n'y avait pas de réseau. C'était quelque chose que le personnel savait. Ils auraient pu nous en informer. C'était le seul point noir. Dommage quand on est en vacances.

The location is very convenient. The hotel has a very good breakfast.

The only downside is the lack of A/C. We had 90 degrees and up weather.
