The customers above us(second floor) were listening to very loud music and vibrating the walls. Ive rang the reception 2 times and ive been downstairs to reception to ask them to do something about, but the things didn't get any better until around 12.30 in the night. Quite few things during the breakfast were running out very quickly and had to wait some time to be replaced (if they still had).

Excellent value … nothing bad to say! Great breakfast with something for everyone! Plenty of choice. Special thanks to Dom and Jasmine 👍 fabulous people! Always went out of their way for me and my mum, all the staff were polite and made sure we were looked after but we see something special with Dom and Jasmine. I recommend this hotel 100 percent .. thanks for having us! X

Just checked in and the gentleman who checked us in was fantastic very very professional apologies did not get his name . So far so good so good, very nice hotel.good rooms, good beer, but most of all the staff are a massive asset to holiday inn.

The service and facilities for children is excellent, we were made very welcome by all staff who couldn't do enough for us to ensure our stay was perfect. I only dropped a mark for around the property where parking fees recently increased 50% for overnight parking considering the hotel has a captive customer unable to find alternative parking.

As there were lots of children in the hotel that day, we were upgraded to a superior room on the next floor. Very thoughtful. Lovely to have a swim too. If I could make 1 comment there just needs to be a light similar to inside the wardrobe by the coffee making facility. Its a very dark area. Thank you 😊

Myself, my partner and my two year old decided to travel up from Kent in order to visit Poulton Park for the first time. To prevent a long day we decided to book this hotel for one night, staying on a Sunday evening. This hotel was part of a package on the Poulton Parks website. Although a chain of Holiday Inn, the presentation of this hotel was very nice and welcoming and i imagine this is due to its very close proximity to the airport. The hotel is also only 15 minutes from Poultons Park. As you entered there was a lovely smell of fragrance that hits you as soon as you walked in and it smelt amazing. The staff at reception were very friendly and accommodating, ensuring any questions we had were answered and the check in procedure itself was smooth and easy. The only confusing thing is that on reception there is an Ipad whereby you can enter your registration to avoid a ticket however you will be required to pay £7.50 parking if your a hotel guest. We booked a standard double room with two beds and paid around £239 for one night which included breakfast and also two day tickets to Poultons Park which i think was actually not bad of a price. The room itself was on the ground floor with a window looking out to the car park however considering this there was no noise issues or anything and the room itself was clean and presentable with no issues. We decided to ask for a travel cot for our child to which the staff arrived and put away the sofa bed and also set up the travel cot for us, which was great. The beds were comfortable and reasonably sized and i ended up having a good nights sleep with no issues at all. There is also a small room near the restaurant for young children to play in, containing various toys and other activities which i thought was good. In the morning we went to breakfast at 8am. The restaurant is actually quite large and good sized to which it also had an outside terrace area which appeared to look nice. The breakfast was a small buffet service which contained your usual fried eggs, sausage, bacon etc but you also had the option to have cereals, fruit and yoghurts and pastries and also access to a coffee machine, hot water and also a selection of juices. My only downfall with the breakfast was that the scrambled egg tasted like it was powdered/very salty however that was only a minor part. Overall i would definitely visit here again if i was to come back up that way. The staff, albeit from reception to maintenance were so friendly and always wishing you a good day! I highly recommend staying here if looking for somewhere if visiting!

Had a fantastic package booked with Paultons park, & thought this hotel would be the best to go with as it was family friendly & near by. After a great day at the park, we arrived as a family of 5 adults & one little one who is 2 in two months. As this booking was booked as a package, I did not have a separate booking reference for the hotel. However I did have my booking confirmation that stated the three rooms booked under one name. We unloaded the cars, got to reception and was waiting to be seen. However the greeting I got was not what I expected. The gentleman serving me, looked completely confused when I explained my package, & then tapped away on the pc, proceeding to tell me ‘ hmmm you have a big problem.’ I asked what that problem was & he proceeded to tell me, I only had one room booked under my name. I explained & showed him my confirmation & he said ‘you must have other names that the rooms are booked under?’ I said ‘no, look, the confirmation shows all three names booked under the one name’ ‘hmmm, no no no we have a big big problem here…’ he then picked up the phone & was speaking to someone like I was invisible, not explaining what was happening etc. he then continued on the phone and who ever he was speaking to must have explained that the booking was right, and helped him understand the booking, as he then said to the person on the phone ‘oh, why can’t I see that then?’ He then hung up, said nothing to me leaving me confused, and unsure of what was happening & I was thinking I would then have to book something else! Which made me feel extremely anxious about having to then pack up the car again! Then he shoved some paper work on the counter, did not explain what we were signing for, nor explained about the car parking, but then said he would charge us for it. I had no explanation about which rooms were being given to anyone nor still at this point if we even had the rooms! It wasn’t until I saw him cutting keys - I know it was resolved. I had no explanation about where the rooms were nor what this little voucher I had been given was. After getting to our rooms, they were standard but comfortable. The team in the spa were great and warm welcoming. The pool was quite cold but we enjoyed the splash around. The f&b team really saved my experience staying here as they were friendly & welcoming. A massive thank you to Dom. It wasn’t until we were leaving I also noticed my little boy didn’t receive his activity pack either. All together standard stay, but I feel the welcome I got at the reception - set the expectation of my stay & that wasn’t welcoming at all. Based on this, I would not recommend my stay. I would advise our friend at reception have a little more hospitality training & be advised on how to welcome guests. Upon checking out I did give my feedback as I was being asked about my stay.., and was told my feedback would be fed on to the colleague. I do work for Accor, so I do have an understanding on how guests should be treated. And unfortunately I do not find this acceptable.
