Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Lake Charles - Sulphur

The breakfast is simple but has many options I loved it. The bed is incredibly super comfortable.

I would like to improve the cleanness details in the bathroom

This was a quick overnight stay heading east on I 10.. Property was convenient to the highway, clean and quiet. Tesla chargers and wood floors in the room were unexpected at a Fairfield Inn. Friendly staff when I arrived and upon departure. Will stay here again.

You all are the best! Keep up the great work that you do there! Whitney is definitely an asset at the front desk on second shift. I’m not sure the young lady’s name who is on fist shift at the desk, but she is a gem as well! Know that every time I pass through there and I need a place to sleep; I’m coming there!

This Marriott doesn’t quite meet the Marriott standards in my opinion. Musty smell in lobby and hallways, sheets that were stained, refrigerator that needed to be defrosted, sink that drained very slowly and rust on bathtub fixture. All not life threatening I realize but also all not up to the Marriott standards that I have experienced all my life.

Whitney was the sweetest and so helpful! She even came check something in our room when we thought the AC wasn’t working. If only all people were this kind!

Upon checkin the front desk staff was friendly & welcoming; the room was clean & comfortable. Included was a delicious spot-on breakfast with hot, fresh coffee and egg & spinach frittata amongst other options! Overall, a great place to stay, especially being en route from Houston to NOLA!

Breakfast was great but I wished there were more fruit options. Only apples that morning. The phone didn’t work, had to go to front desk to get extra blankets and pillows for pull out couch.

The owners redesigned the property to be attractive but also address health concerns associated with the hotel industry. Rooms have fewer cloth/carpet surfaces and are easy to clean and inspect. This makes relaxing and staying healthy easy.

Christina, and Belle at the front desk are the best to talk too, very kind and patient. there are never any issues with the breakfast in the morning. coffees always ready to go, even before 6 o'clock am. And the lovely lady that takes care of the kitchen area, works really hard and make sure everybody has what they need and nothing runs out.

The pool was ICE cold. The whole reason I picked this hotel was for the indoor pool and we couldn’t even use it. I feel like I definitely over paid for not being able to use the pool.
