Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Lake Charles - Sulphur

It was just not a very nice place. The smell wasn't great. It was clean, just felt old and outdated.

Hotel is old and there’s a mildew smell and dehumidifiers that do not work in the room.

Staff were very friendly, the bed and room were comfortable, and breakfast was really good!

The most nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They couldn’t check us it due to there not being any clean rooms @5:45. Rooms smelled like mold and mildew for the 4 days we were there. And all they wanted to do was spray air freshener like that was gonna solve the problem. The outside air unit that’s on the 2nd floor kept leaking so everytime you walked in and out of the side entrance door it dripped on you. Do NOT book here! And whatever you do, don’t let the word Marriot fool you cause it is far from that!

I had a bad experience. The room I selected on the reservation was not the one. It was just a plain king bed with Very soft pillows & the mattress was so worn out that we rolled to the middle of bed. The under sheet had a very hard stain. We got there late so we just slept over the sheets for a few hours not. The tub needs to have inside protection it's so slippery I had to put inside a towel to avoid a fall. Never had I experienced a bad stay very unhappy for our weekend celebration!
