Crowne Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo by IHG

The staff was welcoming. The food was good but expensive.

The reason I booked this hotel was for the bowling and arcade. My son’s whole baseball team booked this hotel based on my recommendation. I paid over $600 for two nights and neither the bowling OR Arcade were functional.

I'd like the amenities/rec room although it was a bit run down. Could use a refresh. The pool was good. I was surprised no hot tub.

I didn't like the night shift front desk person. He wasn't friendly at all. We had issues with payment. He didn't tell us about the free breakfast. Just shoved the card at me. And said my coupons were in there. I was too tired to ask. By the time payment went through we just wanted to get to our room. He wouldn't give me his real name when I asked. Just said people called him HP. Very unprofessional.

Room had everything I needed. It was clean and the common areas in the hotel were comfortable.

The doors closed loudly and you could hear people in hallway more than at other places I have stayed.

The parking was OK. Unfortunate that it was in a different building than the hotel. The hallways were a bit of a maze but figured it out quickly.
