Room and carpet was a bit worn. Very clean and neat, but a taco left in the fridge upon my arrival. Just a bit dated, but LOVED the dark curtains as I had late hours and needed to sleep in

The room was clean and had good beds. Breakfast was also very delicious. Parking the charge extra.

We arrived about 8:30 PM and no one was at the desk to greet us. We waited for about 7 minutes for someone to arrive. (There was a sign saying they stepped away.) The room was hot when we entered it and we turned the AC down to 60. It was reading 79. Two of us went to the pool and dipped our feet in. It could have used a vacuum for the leaves and debris, but it was nighttime, so maybe it had a lot of use during the day. The traffic noise was pretty loud as we were sitting by the pool. Returning to our room we found it was still 79 degrees. We turned the AC down to 50, but no change was noted. We called the front desk and she tried to move us to another room but there was nothing available so she called in the repair man. 30 minutes later he arrived and removed a very dirty filter. The air ran better, but not colder. They gave us a fan. The temp never dipped below 77 all night. The manager was understanding and offered a refund for the room. Breakfast….amazing grits! If you don’t usually like them, you’ll like these! And nice crisp bacon! I guess that was worth a sweaty night.

Most of the equipment in the hotel were broken down. Only one out of the two elevators was functioning; and this too broke down occasionally.

Housekeeping only comes every 3 to 4 days, which was a disappointment.

The toilet was not working and my husband had to plunge the toilet himself as no one came when we called. It was fixed the following day. My nightstand light was not working. I called but no one came. The door handle on the bathroom was broken. There was only one remote but 2 tv's. I did not appreciate walking all around to the pool when there was a gate by my room. I went out to check the pool but could not get back in .
