Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas Market Center

The elevator wasn't working one night. The roof had water spots. So it looked like the roof was leaking in my room at one point in time. Otherwise, the hotel was great with great location to restuarants, etc.

It was clean and the room was extremely nice.

Expedia said a room was available but the hotel said it really wasn’t available. This is the last time I use Expedia for booking and will call the hotel directly for booking. Also not pleased with hotel as we booked this several days in advance and they never attempted to contact me to let me know the room was not available.

I cannot begin to describe the difficulties at this hotel. First they put us in a room that directly faced the Interstate (had requested a very quiet room away from road noise), and naturally, they couldn't move us. Attempted to sleep with ear plugs to reduce the noise....miserable. Bought a few groceries, as our choice here was the intention to eat in due to dietary restrictions. However, discovered the next morning that all food was ruined as the refrigerator, while set on high, was not cooling properly. TV in sofa/dining area did not work, and they didn't have a replacement for it. Homeless sleeping in front lawn area. Only 1 elevator working, and was not sanitary with housekeeping on it with carts full of dirty laundry, etc. (saw a post where the elevator has been out for a bit now) Bathroom counter 80's low...back breaker---as was the toilet. Room that slept 5 only had 4 bath towels....thankfully we only needed 2. Rude and unhelpful woman at front reception. The evening reception gentleman was nice, but helpless. Breakfast buffet basic, but okay.

They sold our room out from under us. We had to split up our family. Like the commercials. Carpet was filthy and never once had housekeeping. One elevator was broken. No hot water for showers on Thursday morning. The attend on Tuesday yelled at us and was so rude. We will never stay at a Hilton again.

Suite was ok, but no housekeeping service during our 4 day stay. One elevator was turned off. Looks like they are reducing costs at our expense. Hard to come back.

Broken elevator. Smelled like smoke. Completely overpriced. Maids were asked to clean and didn’t. Will never stay here again nor recommend. This was my second time staying here with a big group for the market. We stay 8days each time. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

The wifi system was down our entire stay, it would have been nice to get a heads up at check-in rather than us spending a long time troubleshooting and calling the front desk to find out what is happening. Breakfast was good but suggest to use less plastic and styrofoam and more paper to be more eco friendly.
