Hampton Inn Franklin, KY - Portland, TN

We usually stay at this property when taking our daughter to and from school at TSU in Nashville. It’s quiet and right next door to a Mexican restaurant we like. Our last trip my daughter left her watch. The staff we so helpful and accommodating. They mailed it to us with no hassle. Will definitely be staying again.

Staff was awesomely

Absolutely horrendous! This place is a dump! These days you’re happily surprised if you get normal customer service. This was the worst I’ve had in a while. Unprofessional and zero hospitality. I was here for a funeral, who would vacation in the armpit of Kentucky?! My toilet wasn’t flushing, and the maintenance person had left for the night, so the front desk person had the audacity to offer me a plunger, are you kidding?! So I was handed a disgusting plunger to try and fix it myself. The manager said I was lying about the toilet issue and threatened me that if I didn’t leave in 30 minutes, she was going to call the police. You get what you pay for. So if you are needing a hotel in Franklin for some godforsaken reason, just go ahead and book Spring Hill Suites. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton hotel again.

Breakfast was very good and hostess was very attentive.

Facility is aged and needs an upgrade.

Very outdated and poorly maintained. Pretty surprised this is up to Hiltons standards Moldy caulk around tub that looks like a child did it. Cracks in the ceiling and a ceiling that looks sketchy at best. It’s just really old I guess. But I will say it was as clean as this room could have been and clearly why it is less expensive the neighboring Bowling Green

It was a good place for a quick sleep and a decent breakfast. Absolutely adequate. However, the bathroom was a bit run down, and a sock had been left in the room from a previous tenant. Bed was comfortable. The area around the hotel was quite run down. The Sol Azetca restaurant next door had delicious takeout!
