Hampton Inn Tullahoma

I felt the price was way too much for the accommodations. I’ve stayed at much nicer Hampton for way less.

The evening person who checked us in was exceptional. Very accommodating. The morning reception/front desk clerk was not as friendly. She must have been having a rough day. I know one person was so upset about the pool not working.

Nothing. We’ve used this property before and have always had a good experience. We had three rooms for the horse show and all was good.

Location

AC didn't work. Bed was too soft. Didn't sleep well at all. Hotel not up to the standards I expect from Marriott and IHG hotels.

We stayed previously at the Holiday Inn down the street and didn’t like it. This place was a full 100 dollars more per room. It was identical with the exception that our room didn’t flood from the shower. Same kind of room, same breakfast, same tiny little work out facilities. I have no idea why this place was so expensive. It’s a two star hotel at four star prices. Next time we are doing a bed and breakfast or Vrbo.

I booked this hotel with the expectation of using the pool. The pool was down and the advertisement noted use of the pool. Because of a horse show in town, I could not find another hotel with a vacancy.

For the most part is was just a normal hotel room, it was clean and had good breakfast. But the last night the AC went out we woke up to 75 degree muggy room but we was leaving so we got ready and left. I told the front desk about the issue and she did not seem concern didnt offer anything just said i will let them know.

The pool was shut down and we were not told - hottest days of the year at 105deg - no pool - no credit or reimbursement for thier lack of acknowledging that the pool was not available - room service missed two days of cleaning as well.

Sadly hotel is not maintained. 1st room (bottom back) had a very strong moldy smell. 2nd room (top front) had a little smell from the air conditioner but seemed to go away when we turned the temp up. Shower rod was falling off so the curtain wouldn't stay close allowing water to pour out on floor. Pool was murky and closed this year. We stayed at this hotel last year when the pool was open but at extremely low on water and the room smelled moldy but nothing like this stay. We'll be looking for another hotel when we stay in Tullahoma again.

Absolutely one of the worst Hampton Inn's we've ever stayed at. My husband and I were traveling back to Illinois from South Carolina and wanted to stop by and see the Jack Daniels Distillery. We looked for a hotel that stated they had a hot tub and even though the price was way more then others around we chose this one specifically for the hot tub. We did not arrive until about 10pm and when did did arrive the hotel smelled like mildew. It looks like there has never been an upgrade in this place. We asked about the hot tub while checking in and she said sorry no hot tub-you could tell she had been asked before but pretty much blew me off. The AC was so loud it sounded like a screeching freight train both nights. We asked for an additional pillow and the person at the front desk claims they have some on order but had to pull one from another room. The bed was hard, just overall a really bad place. The only reason we chose this place was because they advertise that they have a hot tub and unfortunately we did not have the ability to leave and dispute the charges that late at night. We will definitely not be coming back here again.
