Only complaint is that despite being a "Smoke-Free" hotel, you can definitely tell that people have smoked in the building. It's not a strong odor, but you do smell cigarette smoke when getting off the elevators and in the room that I was in.

"Failure to provide service and "manager" who is less than mentally ok"

1. On 9/12 my wife and I checked in to the Hampton Inn located in Great Valley Pa for a 2 night stay 2. On 9/13 the room cleaners failed to come to our room and clean it 3. When my wife and I returned to the room later in the day, I spoke with the man at the front desk and he told me that HOTELS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO CLEAN THE RESIDENTโ€™S ROOM. He also said that they would not offer a partial refund and that cleaning the room was generally A COURTESY. When I objected, he told me to speak with a manger the next day. 4. The following morning, the same man was at the desk and it turned out that HE WAS THE MANAGER!! 5. He repeated the comment about cleaning the room was not a part of our staying there and paying for the room. 6. Additionally, he told us that when my wife had requested some pillows, she had mentioned that our room was not cleaned that he offered to clean the room and that she turned down his offer. THAT WAS A BLANTANT LIE! MY WIFE HAD NO SUCH DISCUSSION WITH HIM!! 7. In all the years of travel that we have had, we have never encountered anything as ridiculous as this man and his comments.
