Great hotel and location. Golf course definitely worth playing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and very clean. Will definitely be back.

★★☆☆☆ This review is based on a pre-booking experience rather than an overnight stay. On the evening of June 5, my family and I stopped by the hotel after spending a fantastic day at the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail. We were considering staying for several nights and wanted to verify that our vehicle would fit in the parking garage before making a reservation. The front desk associate was excellent. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to review options with us, explain what was included, and help us compare different ways to book our stay. He was also looking at ways to reduce some of the additional costs associated with the reservation and was genuinely trying to help our family. After spending the entire day at the Mountain Games, our children were exhausted, and we were ready to settle in for the evening. The options the front desk associate presented made the stay work for our family, and we were seriously considering booking. As any parent traveling with young children knows, once everyone is settled on a plan after a long day, it takes quite a bit to start over and search for another hotel. We were at the point where we expected to complete the reservation and stay at the property. The associate then offered to check with his manager to see if there were any additional options available. Unfortunately, the experience changed at that point. After the manager reviewed the information, the pricing increased substantially from what had been presented to us, and there was very little explanation as to why. Before we had the opportunity to ask additional questions or better understand our options, the conversation was effectively over. What disappointed me was not simply the price itself. Hotels are free to charge whatever rates they choose. What disappointed me was that we were ready to book, the front desk associate had been working hard to help us, and the interaction with management felt abrupt and dismissive. If the manager had simply explained that the options being presented were the best available or taken a few minutes to discuss the situation with us, we likely would have stayed at the property. Instead, we left feeling confused and unwelcome and ultimately chose another hotel. I want to specifically recognize the front desk associate for his professionalism, patience, and effort. He made an excellent first impression and was doing his best to assist our family. Before leaving, I even apologized to him and told him I hoped he would not get into trouble for trying to help us. He was courteous and respectful throughout the entire interaction. The property appears beautiful, and the location is outstanding. Unfortunately, our interaction with management led us to spend our vacation dollars elsewhere.

We love the amenities as well as the location of this hotel. Also we love the outdoor fire pit and seating area that allows us to enjoy being outside later at night. Also the rooms are modern and clean. There is convenient valet parking which is better than trying to find your own spot. The staff also noticed the hotel wasn’t fully booked when we were there, so they gave us a late checkout for the last day.

This is rated as one of the top Park hyatts In the world. Almost everything was wonderful except the valet and parking situation. If you are a handicapped person keep away. Even in the off season. Most of the hotels amenities need to be upgraded. The big selling point. Is ski season. But off season. Is a great value to enjoy the green and the mountains. Not impressive in comparison to the Park Hyatt resorts.

Pros: 1. Nice rooms 2. comfortable beds 3. beautiful property, 4. friendly staff in the restaurant, 5. easy valet parking. Cons: 1. Front desk staff unaccomodating (when asked to extend the checkout by 1 hr, we were refused saying that the hotel was full and needed our room. However, online you could book any room you wanted that evening. Unaccomodating, and unkind). 2. Prices- be aware that between the mandatory resort fee, the parking, the fees to the Beaver Creek community and various taxes, the final charge is about 50% more than the room rate.

Definitely one of our favorite resorts, whether it's winter or summer. This is the first time I've been here in the off-season, because my wife and I needed to get away at the end of tax season.

I booked a stay at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek for April 5-7, reserving two rooms for my family for what was intended to be a ski-focused trip (ski in ski out is important for me with little kids and carrying gear). Shortly before arrival, I was notified that Beaver Creek Mountain would be closing earlier than expected due to lack of snow. While I understand that weather is outside the hotel’s control, the reality is that the primary value proposition of this property—its ski-in/ski-out experience—was no longer available. Given that, I reached out to the hotel to request a reasonable accommodation, such as applying the stay toward a future visit or adjusting the dates. I was not asking for a refund, simply the opportunity to use the value of the reservation for the experience it was originally booked for. What was particularly disappointing was not just the outcome, but how the request was handled. The response felt dismissive and inflexible, with little effort made to acknowledge the situation or explore any alternatives. At a property of this level, I would have expected a more thoughtful and customer-focused approach—even if the final answer ultimately remained constrained by policy. At this price point and brand level, that was surprising. Luxury hospitality is typically defined not just by the physical property, but by how situations like this are handled—especially when the circumstances are outside the guest’s control and directly impact the core experience tied to the stay. As a World of Hyatt member, I’ve generally had positive experiences with Hyatt, which made this stand out even more. I would have much preferred to keep this within the Hyatt ecosystem and rebook for a future stay, rather than come away from the experience feeling this way. I’m still open to a resolution, but based on this experience, I would strongly encourage others booking specifically for ski access to confirm conditions carefully and understand how strictly policies may be applied—even when the fundamental nature of the stay changes.

The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek was a fabulous hotel for our Spring Break family trip. The hotel is nicely appointed and we all truly enjoyed our stay. The ski valet was such a blessing to us as my husband got sick and this helped get my 2 kids and I on the slopes easily and stress free. The village has many kid friendly activities going on and that was a nice bonus! We enjoyed the skating rink out back a few times on our trip. Having everything so close by is amazing. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is top notch!

The best location in Beaver Creek for families needing easy access to ski school. We've spent our third year there as a family and love it. Recent room upgrades are nice, but they've lost some of the mountain charm in the process. The room interiors could be from any place and the world and therefore, the hotel experience isn't as authentic as it was before.

Ski valet "misplaced" my skis. I ended up having to walk all over in my ski boots and find them. I paid for valet and only got frustration with unapologetic, unhelpful staff. Also- you are "skiing" out of the hotel on grass and mud.
