"Disappointing for a Grand Hyatt "

Very dirty, beddings and walls and walls of bathroom had a lot of stain and overall upkeep is poor, totally out of expectation given the branding and price!

When we arrived in Amman we booked this hotel for 3 nights. It exceeded our expectations. It was clean, accommodating, beautiful and just relaxing. We was able to do our site seeing’s and then come back and relax /unwind. Khaled, Umar and Ahmad was exceptional. They was always so attentive and making sure we was always happy. They made the hotel a 5 star experience. Abdullah, always helped us with our luggage with a smile and super friendly. I forgot the staff names in breakfast buffet but they was ALWAYS so accommodating. Asking me for what drinks/ coffee I would like. They was easy to spot and call if I needed anything. Service was 10/10. Overall loved my experience at the grand Hyatt. I would be definitely coming back and telling all my friends and family to come and stay here. Also the Italian restaurant, the food is delicious. You have to try it. The restaurant itself of gorgeous.

We had a problem with our room when we checked in but the manager and front desk resolved it swiftly and very efficiently. They treated us great and made up for it…had a very nice stay!

OK for a bed but that's about it. The stay was nothing short of a nightmare. If you book make sure you know of restaurants in the city as we were unable to eat dinner at the hotel due to outside reservations. We chose this hotel because of the location in the city, the amenities and the dining options. This hotel was great for the first hour, it looks very grand and the front desk staff are courteous. After booking in we went to our spacious King room and bathroom, as we flown in quite late I wanted to take a shower and have dinner. The shower didn't drain well and the hotel did not resolve the issue in our 5 days there. I made my way down to the main dining room and was turned away due to bookings. I was advised that I was required to do this via the phone in my room. When calling customer services I was told that I could book for 8:30pm the following day, which I was unable to accept due to plans, or next week as they were fully booked until then. Obviously I was dissatisfied but just needed food, I then ordered room service. This was delivered by a guy who announced he was the person I spoke to in customer services. He proceeded to tell me its our fault for not making arrangements for dinner and "he could not let down people with bookings for hotel guests". We ordered room service on another occasion, delivered by the same guy, again looking to cause an argument and tell us that the dinning room issue is ours and we should have been prepared.
