Location and clean

Mattress on bed was lumpy and unconfotable

Good location & very reasonable price for one night stay. Handy fridge & microwave in room. Use of kitchen very useful.

Bathroom could benefit from mould & mildew remover in shower. Parking in street was difficult.

When we arrived I rang the number on the door to be told that booking .com had over booked and we had to move to another b&b . I had already spoke to a lady on the phone earlier that day not once did she mention that there was a problem

In my room there was dry poo on the toilet seat which i had to scrub off using some cleaning product from the kitchen! I was very unhappy with this considering the room was cleaned before arrival! The bed was okay wouldn’t say amazing but alright to sleep on!

Very clean, very friendly and comfortable. Sometimes noisy in hallway from kids but not in the night time.

Nothing. As it was off season I parked for free in the street.

Ideal location, close to South pier. We were able to see the sea from our bay window. Lady we spoke to on phone to check in was very helpful and talked us through step by step giving us all the information needed. Parking at top end of street or in the street spaces. Shop at top of street also. Price was an absolute steal! For the price we paid it was definitely better than would be expected for such a cheap stay. Bed linen was comfortable and smelt of fresh laundry scent. Room had a fridge and tea and coffee facilities and a microwave, great to have if you're staying a few days. Couldn't really complain on the cleanliness as it was clean and tidy, it doesn't compare to some we have previously stayed in as the standards are higher but the prices are also considerably higher in those ones. We paid £19.80 for 2 adults and 1 child in an ideal location so really can't complain, it was worth every penny.

Room 5- the lamp didn't work, but we just put he bathroom light on for a less bright light than the main light at night. The double bed was quite uncomfortable and the mattress sunk near the centre slightly, we were quite achy in the morning.I know this can be personal preference on a mattress but this was generally just an uncomfortable one. The bathroom door didn't close or lock which would be fine if alone but three of us were sharing the room so we had to but the bin there to hold it closed. Also be careful on the lino with socks on especially little ones as it's slippy. My daughter slid on the floor walking into the bathroom, luckily missing the screws poking up from the threshold strip on the door frame.
