The Ship Inn - Self Catering Accommodation

Accommodation was joined to a pub & staff didn’t really know/ care about my booking. Eventually got access to my room & when I got to pub/ restaurant they had stopped food. Really poor show

Very nice location, surrounded by pretty countryside and an old canal, and very quiet at night.

Location was nice and quiet. Pub and food was good and very tasty.

No television or wifi in my room only wifi available in the pub.

The food from the pub was delicious

The photo of the room a deceiving it’s a lot smaller than it looks. There is not a window within the room, so it your lucky enough to have a warm day you can’t get any fresh air. You couldn’t leave the entrance door open as it open straight on to the car park. Right outside our door there was a disabled toilet which all customers had access to. On a warm day and when the garden is busy many people use this toilet rather than go outside. We locked our door to prevent anyone wondering into our room in the end. They was at least one cobweb which was hanging from the ceiling. I really didn’t want to look much closer. The toilet seat was too close to the wall , if you’re a larger person it’s uncomfortable to use. All in all I was disappointed with this room , I’m not an expert but to me it didn’t seem thought through.

Nice enough place. Food in pub is fantastic!
