Despite being part of the Ship Inn pub our twin room with kitchenette to the side was very quiet and peaceful. It is quite dark and the Ship Inn pub sign isn’t lit up so it’s clearly a hidden gem.

The kitchen seemed to lack a few cutlery items e.g. we were two people and there was one knife and two forks and only one bowl. It worked out fine for us as we got by with forks. I am sure had we enquired at the pub they would have provided more.

Location and layout

Had to check out by leaving key in a key lock, which I was asked to reset to some random number and unable to reset….

Easy to find, park. Lovely self contained unit.

The room was very comfortable, it had a little kitchenette which was handy for breakfast as nothing near by. There is no reception for your phone or tablet and no thing the room but this did not bother us.

Lack of wifi single and no mobile signal at all. Very difficult to get a taxi in the area.
