The Ship Inn - Self Catering Accommodation

Close to where we needed to be. Easy and efficient check in and out. Owners were helpful when we needed to make last minute changes.

Some peeling of paint inside. No Tv.

Nothing. The only pleasurable part of my stay was leaving. I am amazed that the owners think that such a poor standard is acceptable.

Appalling accommodation. Room provided had NO WINDOWS and no fresh air. The door opened onto a noisy car park. The beds were uncomfortable. The was mould by the front door, paint peeling off the wall and evidence of damp. Additionally, the staff on site were utterly disinterested and with or both unwilling or warble to help when I complained.

Quiet while we were there Enjoyed the little fan as it was a warm night Meal and service at the Inn very good

No privacy at the front door, opened onto public seating area, could do with some screening Key safe didn’t work properly

I took my own breakfast but would have liked a microwave instead of the oven. The bed was a little too firm for me but they staff went out of their way to help me check in. It was really useful to have a key to the room as I attended a wedding off the pub site.

Excellent little spot, rooms was comfy and quiet. Pub food was amazing

The pub was lovely with good real ales. The wine prices were very reasonable too. The pub has a large garden including substantial covered areas. My wife and I had a three course dinner and the food was excellent. Our room had a good shower cubical.

The room was in an extension to the pub and smelt damp when we arrived (there is a damp patch in the kitchenette area. Could do with airing before visitors. The bed was queen size and a bit on the soft side for my liking.

Great location next to M5. Very rural and quiet. Excellent pub, food and staff. Self catering room as no breakfast on site. Brilliant cafe called the stables 5mins away.

It did the job and served its purpose. The beds were comfy and there was a cooker to use if ee wanted it with plenty of glasses etc.

There were a few damp patches in the room where the paint was chipping off. The lights dimmed when the shower was turned on or we used another electrical item. There were no windows in the room.
