Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza

The array of different seating areas around the hotel made for a very relaxing stay. nice not to have to sit in the hotel room all day. I especially liked the balcony on floor 1. it was lovely to be welcomed each time entering and leaving the hotel. The room size was adequate, particularly enjoyed having a kitchenette to make use of. lots of little things here to make the guests stay more enjoyable, toiletries and lotions, laundry detergent, good coffee, water jug. great attention to detail.

one particular staff member that checked me in could lessen her attitude. It was clear that I'm a tourist to the area and have no idea of localities, a bit more patience and understanding to guests in that situation would be recommended- speak slower and clearly, give exact directions and most importantly ensure the customer has understood those directions before brushing them off to the next person. Also the walls are paper thin in rooms that adjoin others, leaving for a sleepless night when the neighbours decided to party until 2am

I loved this place. A little studio apt with everything you might need. Also pool and hot tub and courtyard out back. It was very quiet at nighttime. I was nervous because I had read reviews about trying to be sold on a timeshare. The concierge did try to convince me to go at check in but when I said “I’ll let you know”, she did not bother me about it the rest of the trip. Therefore, zero issues with that. Just say I’ll get back to you immeditately instead of signing up for a pitch session then trying to cancel later. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you could imagine. Super convenient, gorgeous location in garden district. Trolley and buses right outside but you could not hear them from the rooms. About 45 min walk to French quarter. Loved it and would stay again

The location is the biggest plus for this property; it is right on the St, Charles Ave streetcar line which (usually) makes it easier to get around. Highly touted renovation in past few years is not much of an improvement. No maid service. Front counter staff a very mixed bag in terms of knowledge, helpfulness, professionalism. Put my daughter and SIL in a room where, two days later, they started construction on patio just outside, and painting on hallway: no notice. Maintenance crew ignored "Do Not Disturb" sign in early morning to replace AC filter: it could have waited to later in the day or the following day when they checked out. Pool and hot tub are nice and have long hours.

Thoroughly enjoyed this amenity packed location in the lush Garden District. Loved the hot tub and pool, fully stocked kitchen and newly renovated spacious rooms. The location is stellar right in the St Charles Streetcar line. We will be back!

The resort we’re staying at had a free crawfish boil for guests. It was fabulous! Everything was delicious and plentiful. The staff was so gracious and hunted down a fork and knife for me…it wasn’t easy cutting my corn off the cob with a plastic knife but managed 😂

Hubby and I loved the location and accommodations of our stay at the Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza. We secured a one bedroom and it was perfect...ate our breakfasts in saving us money and we even cooked a few dinners in our kitchen! There was a streetcar stop right outside of the hotel so we could easily get to downtown New Orleans. We really enjoyed walking, though, and got some nice exercise walking from the Wyndham to Bourbon Street, the World War II Museum and other places. Plus, it was really fun walking the Garden District neighborhood and checking out the beautiful homes.

It was a good experience & enjoyed the location & being able to walk to good places to eat. We felt very safe & would recommend this hotel.

It was a good stay ,the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was at 4 pm, and we arrived at 10 am, and they had a room ready for us, so I was happy about that. The room was clean and cute. It looked like it was recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the couch bed that my son slept on. But I think they definitely need a Murphy bed to make it more comfortable for adults. The only downside was the bathroom was very small. I'm a thick girl, and the toilet was small and right by the sink, so it was a tight fit. Lol, overall, I will definitely come back to this location , I just wish they had larger rooms for more family to experience this wonderful city!
