Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen Adults Only All Inclusive

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen and would happily give it 10/10. The hotel itself is brilliant. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are extremely comfortable, spacious and well kept, and everything about the stay felt easy, relaxing and enjoyable. The buffet was also really good, with plenty of choice, and Abraham was a very attentive waiter who looked after us so well. Having four restaurants on site also gave us lots of variety throughout the week. A special mention has to go to the staff, who really made the experience. David, who ran the pool games and activities, was especially brilliant - friendly, funny and energetic, with his pool games and Spanish lessons. We even taught him some Irish too! David the DJ, “White Choc”, was also great fun, and Carlos was excellent with the pool games as well. The bar staff were fantastic throughout, especially Sebastian, Gustavo and José at the pool bar. They could make whatever drink you wanted, the measures were generous, and they always made the experience feel fun and relaxed. Valentina, our housekeeper, did a fantastic job keeping the room spotless and comfortable, and Mariana at the coffee bar was also lovely and made great coffees. Jesus helped us book an excellent excursion to Chichen Itza and a cenote, which was a real highlight of the trip. Ricardo at the front desk was also really generous in offering us a late checkout, which made our journey home much easier. The food options around the hotel were another big plus. The sushi bar and pizza bar were both fantastic, and Quick Delights was perfect for grabbing a tasty snack or bite to eat at almost any time. You were never more than a couple of minutes away from food or a drink. The hotel activities were also fantastic. There was always something to keep you entertained, whether it was great live music, bingo, discos, an amazing fire show, or daytime activities like salsa, guacamole and mezcalita-making classes.

The seaweed problem meant the beach was out of action and although the smell was tolerable it was ever-present. Also during off-peak, some of the live cooking stations aren't always manned so we actually missed live cooking in the buffet until the end of our stay.

A localização é incrível. O hotel é maravilhoso. O pessoal é extremamente gentil e bem atencioso. A comida é excepcional, os restaurantes internos são espetaculares. O Bella de gastronomia Italiana, e o Zarape de comida mexicana são realmente riquíssimos em sabor e um atendimento impecável!

Não conta mais com elevador entre os andares. As informações não são muito claras. O cheiro do sargaço é pungente e muito forte. As bebidas não são tão boas e costumeiramente servidas quentes.
