Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen Adults Only All Inclusive

Hotel is just lovely - exceptionally clean, rooms are lovely & big and bed is huge and comfortable. Location was also perfect with it being in the corner of the main strip of shops/bars/restaurants etc. Shout out to the AMAZING entertainments team who are an absolute credit to the Hotel, they went out of their way to get everyone involved in activities without being pushy - I was on my own for 2 days before family arrived and they made me feel included in everything. Carlos, David (aka dark chocolate), Jennica (sorry not sure of spelling) were just brilliant, very sad to be leaving but we will definitely be back !

Todo estuvo casi perfecto, la comida estuvo muy buena tanto el buffet como los restaurantes . Tienen Coffe bar bastante bueno, la cama muy cómoda, limpio todo, el personal que atiende es excelente. El spa buenísimo. Queda 3 minutos caminando a la quinta avenida. Las barras y comida cierran a las 11 pm(aunque se queda una sala 24 hrs con “snacks”. Y de vdd que todo el personal fueron súper amable!!!

Estuve en temporada de Sargazo y el olor es un poco fuerte aunque te acostumbras rápido(esto no es culpa del hotel, así es la naturaleza). Le hace falta una barra dentro de la piscina! Aunque el personal siempre está atento! De vez en cuando en la piscina deben poner un poco más de música latina!

Staff are super friendly and really great. Good location for 5th Avenue (the main strip) as well as the beach. Plus several restaurants so you don’t feel confined to the same place.

The only reason I am not scoring higher is the sunbeds which dominate the pool and look great, part of the reason why we booked the stay, are not included with felt a bit ingenious. The cost of these is 80 USD / £60 a day! Although they offer a bottle of booze with this, it’s an all inclusive so it doesn’t matter. Also on the weekend, the lovely sunbeds are hired out to a beach club of some description so a mass party; which can be fun to watch or get involved but worth noting.

The pool area, the food, the staff and the large rooms

L'hotel si presenta molto bene ,elegante costruzione , grande ma non " palazzone" , bella la location della piscina con le palme, buono il servizio all inclusive. Si trova direttamente sul mare, bar in spiaggia e lettini a disposizione . A 5 minuti a piedi di arriva nel centro della movida , la Quinta Avenida , piena di locali con musica , shopping e passeggio.

La camera che ci è stata assegnata era datata, buia , in una pessima posizione in fondo ad un' ala dell'hotel , praticamente un sottoscala e vicino alla macchina del ghiaccio , che faceva rumore giorno e notte disturbando il riposo. Ai piani superiori ci sono camere con vista mare/ piscina con terrazzo , Sicuramente molto migliori. Altra nota dolente: non mi aspettavo un mare così brutto, giallo/verde e pieno di alghe . Non ci tornerò.

I like everything about the property but my room facing the ocean with the balcony and the hammock was what made our stay felt like paradise. The location was on point!

Gran parte del personal es muy displicente, el servicio de la mayoría fue muy deficiente. Nos hicieron pagar extra por una habitación al momento del check in porque la que nos asignaron no tenía ni ventanas y era muy pequeña. Las bebidas no son de buena calidad, no contestan los teléfonos cuando necesitas algo de recepción o room service, tienes que ir tú mismo a recepción. No tienen parqueo y no se preocupan por el vehículo de los huéspedes. Te tratan como si estuvieran haciéndote un favor y no porque estás pagando a cambio de un servicio.
