The hotel is friendly, relaxed & comfortable. However it’s much closer to 4* than 5*. The good is the beach bar, the food in the Thai and Italian restaurants and there are plenty of Sunbed’s. The elements that could be improved are that some parts of the hotel are tired and need refurbishing or updating. Also the plates are not cleared in restaurants & we’ve had main meals come before appetisers. However we’ve had a very chilled out few days 🙂

Vi var meget tilfredse med det hele. Man skulle lige forstå systemet med all inclusive, hvilket var meget dyrt og lidt mærkeligt, den måde det kørte, hvor noget alligevel ikke var med. Men en anden gang skal vi ikke have all inclusive. Det er jo bare noget man lære til næste gang og vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage.

We were very excited about our stay in the resort as the first part of our honeymoon. The hotel staff had also arranged for a decoration on our bed to welcome us. Overall they were super helpful and kind, always smiling and accommodating. We also appreciate that after an issue we had with our room, they were able to move us to a different room even though we were only staying there for one night. Also, the gym facilities were very new and updated.

1. Overall, the resort doesn’t seem like a 5-star resort. The amenities are there, but the place lacks maintenance. 2. There was an issue with a pipe that broke and therefore all toilet flushes were filled with muddy, dirty, foul smelling water. Our room was smelling so bad, we could barely breathe. 3. There was a small lizard/gecko in our room and after we saw that, we questioned the overall cleanliness of the place (smell and animals in the room was too much for us). We asked to be moved as soon as possible as we couldn’t stay there. And the issue with this place is that if you want to leave and go somewhere else, well, you can’t (not easily at least) as the boat service is not very frequent and there was also a storm that night… We are thankful that after our complaints about the smell and the animals, they were able to move us to a different room that didn’t have the same problems. 4. The location is not convenient if you plan to explore Phuket and other islands. The boat service is not very frequent and takes about 30 minutes from pier to pier, and then you need to take a taxi/tuk-tuk to go anywhere in the main Phuket island. It is meant to be a place you can stay for the most part of your trip, but the facilities are definitely not good enough for that. 5. The pools were not clean (sand, leaves, and green slime in the corners). 6. The restaurants were way too expensive for what they offer (and especially compared to Thailand priced) and the service was extremely slow. 7. The hotel’s beach was also nothing special and there were no other options in the island.
