Pool zu warm und nicht genug liegen im Schatten am Pool

Ein wunderschönes Resort, die Einrichtung ist sehr durchdacht und wird liebevoll instand gehalten. Wer etwas Ruhe vom Trubel sucht ist hier genau richtig. Es gibt ein tolles Spa; nebendran ein Fitnessstudio mit recht modernen Geräten. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und vielfältig; alle sind super kinderfreundlich.

Eben weil es so eine kleine abgelegene Insel ist, haben wir sicherheitshalber All-in gebucht. Die Abläufe waren für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Minibar auf dem Zimmer kostet, aber genau diese Getränke kann man sich dann aus dem shop holen. Mal durfte man sich seine Getränke dann aus dem shop mitnehmen, mal wurde man zur Bar geschickt, da sonst der Kühlschrank im Shop nachgefüllt werden müsste (?). Insgesamt hatte man das Gefühl, dass All-in nicht gewünscht ist bzw man sich damit unwohl gefühlt hat.

Loved the location and the vibe of the whole place. It's spacious enough to not feel like you're on top of others. A true tropical paradise. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Amazing value for money. Loved the direct pool access from our room, the swim up bar at the other pool, the scheduled activities, and the tree lined beach. The breakfast spread, and food at the resturants was also fantastic. Would highly recommend the tricycle village tour which is actually a whole island tour on a motorbike sidecar with a driver and guide.

When we got off the speed boat there wasn't enough space in the buggies for us so we were left on the Pier in the sun and heat until they came back for the luggage. Not a great start. We also found that signage to reception was very difficult to follow, and information on 'what's on' wasn't always communicated well.

We spent 10 nights at IEB in March. The hotel is on Coconut Island, boat takes you in 10 Minutes to the hotel, on the pier buggies wait for the guests to bring them to the lounge. The overall impression is that they are always in chaos. We had all inclusive package. At check-in they didn’t tell us that all inclusive is just from 11:30 to 22:30, besides that you have to pay also for the water. This policy is strange for me, after I’ve been in many hotels around the world. There is no snacks during the day, you can eat just in the restaurants from the menu. The other problem and inconvenience with this all incl. that we had deluxe pool access room, which is really good if you want a relaxing holiday by the pool, but there is no possibility to get a drink the whole day. No bar, minibar is also paid, so you need to go the beachbar/infinity pool bar or restaurant to get a drink, a snack, which takes min. 5-10 minutes walk, or call a buggy to get there. What?! Or you go to 7 Eleven to shop some, but you don’t pay then all incl. The room is nice, big enough but not practical, there is no space for the cloths, for hang the towels after bath and the lightning could be better at least in the bathroom or at the mirror. More times we got dirty beach towels. The biggest chaos is in the 2 reastaurants, It’s everything and Da Beppe - the Eat we didn’t tried. Has to wait a lot, they also don’t take off the empty dishes, if you order 3 courses you get all at the same time. They are always watching the laptop and don’t take so much care with the floor. At breakfast you can’t find a table because either sit someone or full with used dishes. In the evening the programm is always the same live band. And a plus1, next to our room they renovated 3 rooms from early morning..was a bit noisy sometimes. I don’t think we would choose again.

Spectacular resort, truly the definition of paradise. From the stunning beach views to the beautiful walks around the hotel, it genuinely feels like you’re immersed in a beach meets jungle escape. The food was fantastic; I couldn’t fault a single thing. A huge shout-out to the activities team, Meen, Mook and Don, who were incredible at what they do. They made the holiday so fun and engaging with a wide range of activities, from volleyball and combat sports to fishing and much more. Roy, the bartender, made us feel so welcome every evening and provided some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. Finally, Hoomaron, the golf buggy driver, was outstanding. He shared so much helpful knowledge about Thailand, where to go and what to do, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome.

Being away from it all

Buffet was crowded at breakfast times Couldn't really walk anywhere on site, had to get the golf carts everywhere so I never felt like I understood the location!
