Golmangtae Pension

The owner was very friendly and cooked dinner for us each night. He was helpful and offered us help getting back to Chenan. We learned about his family and the history of the property.

Vi kände oss välkommen av ägaren. Bjöd på te och risvin. God koreansk middag och frukost och trevliga samtal. Trevligt rum. Fin omgivning på en höjd och nära till teodlingar.

We stayed for one night to visit the Green tea plantation. The owner was super friendly. He offered us rides to the plantation and to Boseong even if it would have been possible with local busses as well. In addition he prepared tasty green tea and rice wine for us. And we got an amazing korean breakfast from him. The accomodation itself lays within a beautiful garden (nice lights by night as well). It is well equiped and clean. The combination of green tea plantation, comfortable location and meeting a new friend was just perfect.

조용한 환경에서 편하게 머물다 왔습니다. 사장님과 직원 분의 따스함과 배려가 좋았습니다. 기회가 되면 다시 방문하고 싶습니다.

La struttura è accogliente, immersa nel verde e situata a pochi minuti di distanza dalle piantagioni di te verde. Il proprietario è molto ospitale ed è anche un ottimo cuoco (ci ha preparato un buonissimo bibimbap per cena) oltre ad essere un bravissimo giardiniere (molto bello il giardino tutto intorno).

This is a review based on the context of a quirky country hotel. The pension has individual clay built rooms with en-suite big enough but not spacious. There is an onsite bar, cafe. The owner is generous cooked us a meal and we dined with the family. My marks are not to compare the hotel with a 4 seasons. Location wise brilliant we will return to further explore that area of Kores

The pension is very near to the tea farm, the owner is a very nice person, he even dropped us to the farm with his car. No English at all which it makes everything quite difficult if you need something. You have to choose Papago to communicate… The room needs some kind of renovation, towels given are only small size. No chair in the room. The room was extremely heated. Not very much to eat even the owner cooked us a chicken soup my GF couldn’t eat:-(
